10Wesker’s Little Secret

Wesker has done some questionable things throughout theResident Evilseries, but this has to take the cake. Many players would never believe it were it not for a file inResident Evil 5, but the T-Virus actually stems from a flower in West Africa. Known as the Stairway of the Sun, this flower was the base for the progenitor virus, the strand which lead to many of the bioweapons in theResident Evilseries. Located in the fictional region of Kijuju, this flower was protected by the Ndipaya people that inhabited the region. Unfortunately, however, onceRE5rolls around, the indigenous people are fully under the effects of the Virus and Tricell’s meddling.

One of these children is his sister Alex, the central antagonist ofResident Evil: Revelations 2. The same file fromRE:5also reveals that the other children are dead. Spencer, one of the founders of Umbrella, she later escapes and commits suicide after learning of her parent’s deaths. Following this, she reanimates into a grotesque monstrosity during the T-Virus outbreak within the Mansion. Players can encounter Ms. Trevor once they reach the Cabin on the outside of the Mansion.

1D.I.J.’s Diary

D.I.J. is a small character that appears briefly throughoutResident Evil: Code Veronica X. What makes this diary so special is that players can only access it via the Battlemode in the game. This is a mode that the player can only unlock when they’ve beaten the campaign. If players were lucky enough to find the diary, they’ll learn that it illustrates first-hand accounts of certain events in the game.
