Cordelia goes to the hospital and winds up in a coma after Vocah forces her to see many visions and she becomes hurt. Wesley survives a bomb at the office building, but ends up hospitalized as well. After seeing that an important symbol is written on Cordelia’s hand, Angel goes to the Oracles and finds out that he needs a text calledAnatole. WhenAngel and Vocah fight, Angel defeats Vocah, who dies. Angel is victorious when he cuts Lindsey McDonald’s (Christian Kane) hand and gets the scroll that he needs.

TheAngelseason 1 finale “To Shanshu in LA” is also a memorable episode because Angel stands up to Kate. He proves that he’s always going to stay strong, no matter what battles he faces or pain he’s in, when he says:
“This isn’t about the law, this is about a little thing called life. Now I’m sorry about your father. But I didn’t kill your father. And I’m sick and tired of you blaming me for everything you can’t handle! You want to be enemies? Try me.”
At the end ofAngelseason 1, Cordelia, Wesley, and Angel share a nice moment when Cordelia gives them food. Wesley learns the true meaning of the prophecy: when Angel has helped people,Angel will become human. In the final scene,Darla (Julie Benz), a vampire who used to follow the Master, is found in a cage. What Is Angel Season 1 About?
