Summary
The latest 1.0.5 patch forAssassin’s Creed Miragewill shortly be rolling out across PC, PlayStation, and Xbox consoles.Assassin’s Creed Miragewas praised by criticswhen it was released, with the latest entry in the long-running franchise paying homage to the early PS3/Xbox 360 days of the series.
Despite releasing on June 07, 2025,Assassin’s Creed Mirageis already proving a hit with the fans, with players jumping into a more story-focused campaign compared to the sprawling open-world RPGs that the franchise has become known for over the last few years. In an effort to keep players exploring the ancient city of Baghdad, Ubisoft has been quickly squashing bugs and pushing through updates to the stealth-action title.
OnUbisoft’s website, the developers have noted the major changes coming toAssassin’s Creed Miragewhen the latest patch begins rolling out on November 7. The patch clocks in between 2.39GB and 5.79GB depending on which platform gamers choose to play on. Fixes have been applied to three of the game’s quests, Speak with Ali, Follow the Fiery Trail, and Nehal’s Calling, where obstacles preventing progress have been removed.
Other changes toAssassin’s Creed Mirageinclude various animation fixes, particularly surrounding the clothing of NPCs and strange movements with Basim’s legs. Issues with the store rewards system and the Fire Demon outfit have also been resolved by the team at Ubisoft. When running the game, players can expect improved stability and, for PS5 players, the time clock counting the number of hours played will now correctly track playtime.
Patch 1.0.5 also includes the optionto enable or disable chromatic aberration withinAssassin’s Creed Mirage. Chromatic aberration, or color fringing, is a visual effect that leaves visible imperfections on light-distorted objects that appear in the distance. The feature was divisive when the game was released on October 5, leading to some players encouraging Ubisoft to make changes.
With the latest patch, Ubisoft is showing players that it is committed to makingAssassin’s Creed Miragea game players will keep coming back to for years to come. The support for the action-stealth title doesn’t stop here either, as the developers are looking to bringAssassin’s Creed Mirageto iOS in the first half of 2024. This will be done by utilizing the power of Apple’s latest A17 Pro system-on-chip that’s built into the iPhone 15 Pro and Pro Max. The developers at Ubisoft are confident that this new chip will allow gamers to enjoy a fully-fledgedAssassin’s Creedexperience in their own pockets.
