Atomic Heartdraws players into an alternate universe Soviet Russia as Major Comrade P-3. While exploring the large Facility 3826, players canfind various Testing Grounds.These areas act as dungeons for players to complete. Each Testing Ground contains a set of puzzles and combat rooms withcrafting recipes as rewards.
These recipes will be found in bronze, silver, and gold chests placed throughout each Testing Ground. The map shows players which recipes are located at each testing ground. Testing Ground 8 is one of the larger and more complicated dungeons with more rewards for players willing to complete it.

Unlock Testing Ground 8
Testing Ground 8 is located inside the Sechenov Research Center. It can be completed alongside the story mission in the same area. To open the entrance players need to climb up to the roof of the building. Use the fire truck and then some platforms to get to the terminal.
This terminal can control camerasin the area.
Find the three generators and activate them using RB/R1. Two of them are tricky and must be activated through walls even though the camera can’t see them.
One generator can only be turned on after the player has used the camera to open the hawk doors and controls. Return to the entrance and look inside to the right.
The elevator down to Testing Ground 8 will have three green lights and be open now. Descend into Testing Ground 8.
Magnet Room
Usethe Shok glove abilitieson the magnetized ceiling to shift platforms in the room. This will raise the blue magnet platform. Jump to it then scale the yellow ledges heading to the left side of the room.
Some ledges will require jumping. Press B/Circle mid-jump for extra distance. Drop onto the blue platform far to the left. Shok the magnets again to raise this platform.
Carefully drop to the non-magnet wall dividing the room.
Then jump to the non-magnet platform and to the exit.
Head straight through a fenced-in area then to the right to find the bronze chest. Loot it for the Zvezdochka-Extra Saw Recipe.
Polymer Flooding Room
Leave the chest room then take the left path from the magnet room exit. Walk through the large hatch marked six to enter the Polymer Flooding Room. The center of the room features a large container filled will blue liquid. The doors will lock along with an enemy ambush.
Destroy the flying and rolling enemies to open the door at the end of the room. Climb the containers to the exit.
The silver chest will be on the left. Open it to acquire the Dominator-Vortex Transducer and the Fox-Lightweight Titanium Blade recipes.
Candle Door
Continue on into a room with a hole exiting outward to a group of platforms. There is a save room on the left side here. Save and exit across the platforms.
On the right side of the hall is polymer traveling downward along withcandles shooting down a set of pipes.Descend using the polymer.
The next floor has a hole in the ground that the candles are dropping through. Drop through the hole and the polymer will catch P-3 at the bottom.
Pick up candles from the constant stream of them hitting the floor and place them above the locked door.
Use the button in the small room then quickly get through the candle door before it closes.

Submarine Room
There is a save room on the left. Continue forward for the final puzzle room of Testing Ground 8. There is an empty candle stand next to the chasm. Go downstairs and enter the area next door with the hanging submarine. Walk up a few platforms to grab the candlewith the glove telekinesis.
Setting the candle into place will bring a platform over. Climb across the chasm then back across the golden sculpture. This will bring P-3 to the scaffold where the candle was originally placed.
Look through the gap in the wall to grab the candle and place it back.
A new platform will leave the wall and slide to P-3. Climb the metal pieces to get to the top of this platform.
Pull out the candle again, so the platform will return to the wall. Jump to the pipe and quickly slide down. Jump to the yellow ledges before the candle respawns in its original spot and shifts the wall back.
Climb the yellow ledges to reach a save station and the gold chest. Loot it to receive the Swede-Polymeric Alloy Extension and the MP-Revolver Type Bolt Frame.
Belyash Arena
Exit using the lift platform nearby. The dome of the research center will open and reveal a combat arena. Playershave to fight two Belyashat once. These are a boss enemy from later in the game, but these two have reduced health and damage. Destroy them and walk to the door for the shutters to open. Exit the arena to finish Testing Ground 8.Use the save stationand the car nearby to leave the area.
