Baldur’s Gate 3is an expansive RPG based onDungeons & Dragons.Act 3 of the game finally lets you explore the titular city of Baldur’s Gate. The city itself dwarfs the locations of the first two acts and is filled with all sorts of hidden secrets.
The Counting House is the main bank in Baldur’s Gate, and it contains a series of safes stuffed with rare valuables. These safes are difficult to crack through lockpicking. Thankfully, you can find hidden keys throughout the city to open them. Players need to interact with a lever to acquire theCounting House Safe n°6 Keyin a basement.
Thrumbo Location
If players have met the Mystic Carrion in Philgrave’s Mansion, they will receive the task of finding Thrumbo. Head to the southernmostpart of the Lower City,past theHeapside Strandfast travel point. Folow the stairs down and to the right to get onto the docks. The first time you visit this seaside area, you will be attacked by Sahuagin enemies that assault the pier.
Head up the stairs to find Thrumbo at the beach house labeled Vonayn’s House in game. He is hiding in the wardrobe at coordinates(X:56, Y: -120.)Open the wardrobe to speak to him and choosewhether you will side with the undead servantsor Mystic Carrion.
Enter the Basement
While completing this task, you may notice thehatchoutside on the front patio. Enter it to discover the house’s basement. Move carefully as there arethree trip wire trapsplaced throughout the hall. Your party may pass perception checks and point them out to you. Bring a rogue with high dexterity to disarm these traps.
How to Use the Basement Lever
At the end of the hall, past the traps, is a dead end. There is a lever tucked up into the wall lit up by the sky above. You can’t jump or squeeze into this area andspells like telekinesis/Mage Handwill not work. All you need to do isuse a ranged attackon it. This will flip the lever even though the physics don’t make any sense at all.
The wall on the right-hand side of the hall will open,revealing a hidden area.TheCounting House Safe n°6 Keycan be found on the right side of the area. It’s in thebackpacknext to the bed and safe. There is also a booby-trapped chest on the left side of this area with a small amount of gold.
