The highly anticipated PvE story campaign forOverwatch 2is seemingly coming out “soon” with more information to be revealed in the near future. This PvE mode will bring additional challenges forOverwatch 2players who currently only have PvP modes to choose from.

When Blizzard announced the release ofOverwatch 2, this new FPS was meant to have two distinct yet complimentary modes: a classic PvP experience with teams of five battling each other, and a PvE campaign story filled with missions focussing either on the universe’s backstory or on specific objectives players have to complete together. ThisOverwatch 2PvE modewas supposed to come with a variety of new abilities for the playable heroes, allowing players to customize their gaming experience through brand-new skill trees. However, when Blizzard releasedOverwatch 2in early access, the game only featured the free-to-play PvP modes, with no signs of the promised PvE story missions. Blizzard stated this PvE mode would be available sometime in 2023, with no specific time frame announced.
