While there was certainly controversy around certain aspects ofBorderlands 3and its storytelling, there was a lot to praise about the game as a whole. One aspect ofBorderlands 3that got a lot of love was its ongoing support, as it featured a lot of post-launch content - something that a detailed image puts on display.
Borderlands 3made its debut on July 09, 2025, offering a fair bit of content on launch. Several planets full of side missions and a variety of enemies were able to be explored, while the Proving Grounds added some highly replayable mission types.Crew Challengesgave players some fun optional tasks to complete, and a cosmetic-focused Eridium vendor gave them cosmetics to grind for. However, while there was a lot to do on launch, the game grew significantly through its 2+ years of support.

Borderlands 3fan and official Discord runner @DeputyPirek shared an image from @RodriguezMario6 highlighting everything that was added to the game through the paid expansions and free content drops. There were six total DLCs made available across the two season passes, with four proper expansions released alongside the Designer’s and Director’s Cuts. This premium content saw new weapons, missions, and locations added, with skill trees and a raid boss included as well. With theArms Race modebringing a new way to playBorderlands, there was a lot of variety in the DLC.
AlongsideBorderlands 3’s season pass content, there were numerous free updates made to the game. All of these are highlighted in the image as well, with new gear pieces, cosmetics, and Mayhem 2.0 mentioned. TheBorderlands Sciencemini-gamewas also included, with additions like extra Guardian Ranks and SDU slots covered as well. The game’s seasonal events and Takedowns were shown in the breakdown as well.
While seeing the variety of content offered is interesting, asBorderlands 3’s Vault Cardsdiffered greatly from the game’s weekly loot events, the sheer amount of content is staggering as well. Seeing things like 132 gear pieces listed out alongside 21 patches shows that Gearbox put a lot of work into the game, and it is nice to see some dedicated fans compiling all the info to make it clear just how well the game was supported. With a good mix between free and paid content,Borderlands 3players had plenty to do while the game was being actively updated.
While it remains to be seen what the future holds forTiny Tina’s Wonderlands, a Season Pass has been confirmed. If the spin-offtakes notes fromBorderlands 3and features a massive amount of free content alongside its premium DLC, players could still be playing years after its release.
Borderlands 3is available now on PC, PS4, PS5, Stadia, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X.
