7Communicate With The Team

Despite how a lot of players may choose to play the game,Call of Duty: Vanguard’s Arms Race mode is best played with a team that are communicating with each other. In fact, because a lot of players in Public Matches don’t communicate and coordinate with teammates, the teams that do will be at an instant advantage. Team communication works to make teams better onany multiplayer shooter game.

Party chat with teammates is often the better option because of greater connection, which strengthens the quality of the users' voice input. Players who aren’t already in a squad should look to join Game Voice Chat and hope they come across a team that also wants to communicate.

6Use The Bike For Fast Traversal

TheCall of Duty: VanguardArms Race maps are huge, which reflects a recent change toCall of Dutytitles of featuring much larger maps, akin to those that players would find onBattlefield. These huge maps on the Arms Race mode can prove time-consuming to traverse, and a waste of time if players spend ages navigating only to be shot dead by a sniper as soon as they reach the objective.

Luckily, there are plenty of vehicles about. Players should use the bikes and other vehicle types they find around the maps to travel fast to an objective and get back into the fight more quickly.Vanguardis hardly going to be considered anFPS game that changed the genreany time soon, but it’s cool that it features vehicles that players can use in-between firefights.

5Consider Bullet Drop

While most of the regular-sized maps on theCall of Duty: VanguardMultiplayer are small, players should keep in mind that bullet drop does exist in the game, and is very present in the Arms Race maps due to their size. Weapons will have different recoils, bullet drop, and velocity stats which will affect gun fights, especially on the Arms Race mode. Players should spend a bit of time practicing with their weapons, checking their stats, and comparing them against to other weapons of a similar class to assess which loadouts they should be using when playing in the Arms Race.

4Attack Bases With Coordination

While there are many ways to attack the bases onCall of Duty: Vanguard’s Arms Race mode, it is important that a team coordinates their attack and attempts taking over different bases in a tactical way. As there are fewer and fewer bases throughout the game, it becomes easier for a team to protect them as all players can commit to the same base. The tactical gameplay present in Arms Race was influenced byVanguard’s Classified Arms Update.

Because of the nature of the Arms Race mode, the game gets increasingly difficult for the attacking team the longer it goes on. This is why players should make sure they are coordinating, which means waiting for teammates to get into position before attacking and prioritizing harder-to-claim bases. Players that prefer to take the lone wolf route may look to distract the enemy team by taking on other bases, allowing the rest of the team to continue taking the primary base they were going after.

3Use Grenades When Out Of Demolition Equipment

Players can buy demolition equipment, such as satchel charges that can be used to blow up objectives and enemies along with them. However, since the Arms Race relies on players purchasing weapons, ammo, and explosives from the Stores, some teams may not have enough money to buy satchel charges and the like. It’s aproCall of Duty Vanguardtipfor players to keep stock of all the equipment and weapons available to them, either on the loadout or on the battlefield.

In this situation, players should look to use their grenades as these also work to blow up objectives and gates or other barricades that protect the base surrounding objectives.

2Dump Money Into Stores If Round Loss Is Unpreventable

Sometimes in the Arms Race, a team will not be able to prevent a Round Loss even if they are communicating and trying their best. In these situations, it is important to dump as much money as possible into the Store. This helps to ensure that the team can start off the next round with as much high-quality equipment as possible.

A team will lose money if they lose a round, which is why it’s important to put that money to good use for the best chance of success in the next round.

1Buy Loadouts Quick

While theCall of Duty: VanguardArms Race mode may have a slower overall pace than that of the regular modes, there is still a need for players to act swiftly and aim to get ahead by being quick with preparation. Fast pacing is present in allWorld War II games, not justVanguard, so players shouldn’t be surprised that they have to be quick to have the best chance of succeeding.

Players should look to find a few different loadouts they like to use the most (depending on the situation) and then buy the loadout from the Store at the start of a new round as quickly as they can. Acting swiftly like this can allow a team to get the drop on the enemy team and have the best chances of success.
