Call of Duty: Warzonehas its fair share of glitches, and sometimes these glitches give a glimpse into future content, or ideas that were scrapped. For example, there was a glitch recently that suggests theJuggernaut killstreak could be coming toWarzone, and now a new glitch has revealed an unreleased healing item for the game.
Call of Duty: Warzoneplayer and Reddit user regnilsemaj recently shared a clip of his character using bandages, which don’t currently exist in the game. The glitch happened as regnilsemaj was attempting to put on new armor plates while simultaneously climbing up a ladder. It’s possible that thisWarzonebandage animation is due to a scrapped feature, but it’s also possible that it’s something that’s going to be added in a future update at some point.

Most battle royale games use bandages for players to heal themselves, butCall of Duty: Warzonehas regenerating health instead. This cuts down on the number of healing items thatWarzoneplayers need to carry around at any given time, in turn ensuring that players aren’t spending a ton of time in their inventory screens.Call of Duty: Warzonereviewshave praised this feature quite a bit, and so one has to imagine that switching from regenerating health to bandages would not necessarily be met positively by the community.
However, it’s possible that theWarzonebandages are going to be used for a limited-time mode, as opposed to the main battle royale experience.Call of Duty: Warzonehas been experimenting withClassic Battle Royale modeslately that strip away a lot of theWarzoneinnovations for a more traditional experience. While it retains the regenerating health, perhaps future iterations ofWarzone’s Classic Battle Royale will do away with it in favor of adding bandages.
WhetherCall of Duty: Warzoneis adding bandages or was going to add them before scrapping the idea is hard to say at this point. However, there is abig update forWarzoneplanned for next week, and it’s entirely within the realm of possibility that bandages will be properly introduced at that point.
For the uninitiated,WarzoneSeason 3 is coming to an end, andWarzoneSeason 4is expected to start on Wednesday, June 3. Season updates forWarzonehave seen significant new content in the past, and there’s no indication that Season 4 will be any different. Whether or not that will include the debut of bandages remains to be seen, but fans will find out sooner rather than later.
Call of Duty: Warzoneis out now for PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
