Cult Of The Lambis a roguelike action-adventure title developed by Massive Monster, where the playertakes the role ofa lamb that has been sacrificed to a god. Another god takes pity on the lamb and brings them back to life, as long as they promise to start a cult in their name and free them from the chains that bind them.

Like any rogue-like, players will need to survive rooms of enemies and defeat bosses to aid their cult as well as their god, this can be difficult. However, players will have access to tarot cards that can better their chances during runs.
10More Resources With Nature’s Boon
Growing the cult is another crucial part of Cult of The Lamb, to build beds, farms, andother buildings like churchesa player will need the right number of resources. Although the lambs cult members can collect their own resources for them, this can begin to slow as they empty the area of the base.
Players can also find resources while out defeating enemies. By pulling Nature’s Boon, a player is able to increase the amount of resources they can collect from the surrounding environment.
9Get Better Loot With Rabbit’s Foot
Completing a floor or room ofCult of The Lambwill reward the player with a chest. Usually these chests contain more gold, Fervour, and other bits and pieces that are useful to the player. However, sometimes these chests can be incredibly lackluster.
Rabbit’s Foot increases the chances of better loot in all chests on a run. This increases the likelihood of receiving blueprints for decorations or even the possibility of pulling more tarot cards instead of waiting for the designated room that supplies them.
8Death’s Door Will Damage All
For players that feel that thenext battle may be their lastdue to how challenging it is, Death’s Door can save a player’s life when the going gets tough. Players that have been hit down to half a heart will deal a multiplier of damage to every enemy around them.

Although it requires a player to lose a lot of health for it to activate this doesn’t stop it from being useful, as its main purpose is for those situations. There are also upgraded versions of this card which can increase the damage it does to enemies making it an even better choice.
7Receive More Fervour With Fervour’s Harvest
Fervour is the resource used tocast the cursesthat players have available to them to damage enemies. When defeating foes players receive a small amount of Fervour to refuel these curses though depending on how often a player uses them it can take a couple of rooms to get all the curses back.
Fervour’s Harvest has the simple perk of increasing the amount of Fervour players get back from defeating enemies, which means using these curses becomes a much more viable option of survival.
6More Red Hearts With The Hearts 3
Having a high amount of health is vital when hoping to survive inCult of The Lamb, one way to ensure this is increasing the number of hearts the player has. This can be done by upgrading the Lamb or through tarot cards such as The Hearts.
The Hearts 3 is the max of this card players can earn. When pulled the lamb is gifted with two temporary red hearts that they have available to them for the rest of the run until they themselves are defeated, or the boss is finished.
5Master Of The Art Deals Extra Damage
Increasing the damage output of the weapons wielded by the lamb can make clearing rooms a lot quicker and easier. Master of The Art does exactly that as it improves the damage done by whatever melee weapon a player is wielding by a certain multiplier.

Similar to Death’s Door players can get an improved version of this tarot card which increases the multiplier of damage a weapon commits. This allows for evenfaster speed runsthrough levels and making the lamb a force few wish to mess with.
4Gain More Hearts From A Gift Down Below
As mentored having a large amount of health can increase a player’s chances of completing a level. Shield Hearts, also known as Blue Hearts, are incredibly useful as it allows a player to complete a floor without losing any of their original hearts.
A Gift From Below unfortunately doesn’t have any other special effects. It is however still incredibly useful when attempting to complete a run as it allows players to be more daring when defeating enemies as they can take unnecessary risks without any consequences.
3Fortune’s Blessing Doubles Healing
As survival is incredibly important being able to heal back all lost health is crucial for players that hope to make it through a run of a level.Healing can be incredibly rareas only some chests may have hearts inside them, and it’s usually only half a heart.

Players that are blessed by fortune using the Fortune’s Blessing tarot card get double the amount of health back when healing, this applies to not only normal red hearts picked up from chests but also diseased hearts and blue hearts.
2A Diseased Heart Damages Foes
Players are certain to get hit at some point while dodging the enemies they face, the diseased heart is a cursed item that will be the bane of any foes' existence. There are no negatives to taking this heart.
Although it looks corrupted, any enemy that hits the player will not only damage themselves but also everyone else that can be seen on screen for a decent amount of damage. As it gives the player one whole Diseased Heart, this also means a player can be hit twice to do this damage to enemies without sacrificing their own health.
1Get A Second Chance With The Deal
Unlike the other tarot cards that are available from the start of the game. The player will need to have unlocked the fourth area inCult of The Lambin order to purchase The Deal from Midas' Cave for ten gold bars.
Althoughit sounds expensive, this tarot card is vital for later runs where the dangers are multiplied for players. The Deal allows a player a second chance after death as it instantly revive them in their current room with half a heart left.
