A newCyberpunk 2077mod offers a comprehensive revamp of the superstructure that houses V’s initial apartment, the Megabuilding H10. While CD Projekt Red’s latest flagship certainly didn’t skimp out when it comes to providing opportunities for exploration, modders have taken it upon themselves to build upon this massive sandbox further still, as they are wont to do.
Even thoughCyberpunk 2077doesn’t provide as comprehensive of a set of modding tools as games likeThe Elder ScrollsandFalloutdo, the game has still managed to entertain a whole community’s worth of modders that slowly but certainly enhance some of its aspects. Since Night City itself is presented as a hugely important aspect of the game, it’s not surprising to see people investing more time and effort into making it even more immersive than it already is.

While some otherCyberpunk 2077mods have added entirely new areasfor V to explore to their heart’s content, others have instead chosen to rework and improve upon some of the game’s existing locales. Modder Krat0es already has an impressive selection of mods that rework hugely important in-game areas, adding additional layers of complexity to them. Krat0es’s Megabuilding H10 Expanded, specifically, adds multiple new floors, corridors, and a veritable landing pad for players to peruse, making V’s first apartment building a far more interesting place to spend time in.
Krat0es previously released aCyberpunk 2077mod that improves the Afterlife club, as well as Dewdrop Inn. Similarly, they’ve also provided a comprehensive suite of enhancements for Megabuildings H6 and H8, giving players all the more reason to explore each of these locations. It is worth pointing out, of course, that players interested in setting up Krat0es' collection of expansion mods should first install the Cyber Engine Tweaks prerequisites, as the added interactions otherwise won’t work.
With thesequel toCyberpunk 2077officially announced, it’s going to be interesting to see where CDPR takes the franchise next. For all its faults, the studio’s first foray into sci-fi has worked out reasonably well, and with a burgeoning modding community backing it up and a big expansion on the way, it does seem all but certain that the game is only going to get better over the next couple of months.
It’s interesting to look back, too, with thefirstCyberpunk 2077trailernow just over a decade old. The game went through a fairly tumultuous development cycle, which ended up meaning that some of the topics implied in the teaser trailer would get almost entirely sidelined in the final product. Even if the sequel doesn’t end up replicating the unique atmosphere of2077’s first trailer, it’s possible that a particularly tenacious modder might.
Cyberpunk 2077is available now for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
