The open world of Night City inCyberpunk 2077is filled with mystery and intrigue, and the added expansion ofPhantom Libertyis no exception to this grand level of detail. When players roam the dangers of Dogtown inCyberpunk 2077:Phantom Liberty, they can go to specific areas in this new walled-off district to find some hidden secrets, like Songbird’s crashed ship.
After players have successfully infiltrated Dogtown and Mr. Hands has been so kind as to register V as a Dogtown resident during the Lucretia My Reflection mission, players can roam Dogtown freely, and discover what happened to Songbird inCyberpunk 2077:Phantom Liberty.
Past the Voodoo Boys’ headquarters in Dogtown, players can head deep into the desert area, where players will note the wall of Dogtown that stops its citizens from escaping to the Badlands and into Night City. Inside Dogtown’s South East area, players will locate a hostile area, as shown in the image above.
In this hostile area, players might need tokill a few Scav enemiesthat are guarding Songbird’s crash site. After killing them, players can approach the noticeable lifepod that has been embedded into the dirt, just be careful of the corpses from the Scav enemies that might be blocking the view.
Explore Songbird’s Crash Site
At the site, players can use their Optic Scanner to discover that this lifepod was from Space Force One, the ship that carried President Myers and spurred V on this journey into Dogtown tosave Myers, President of the NUSAon the promise of a cure forwhat the Relic was doingto them.
Johnny Silverhand will appearat the crash site and make a few comments about Songbird’s vessel. It’s great to see some lore outside the story that shows just how Songbird managed to survive the Space Force One crash. Players can use a high Technical Ability Attribute to determine just how Songbird managed to survive the crash that could’ve turned any lesser person into red paste.
There is no loot at Songbird’s crashed space pod, but it’s an interesting location to visit nonetheless. Players can find manyeaster eggs inCyberpunk 2077like these, which act as lore-heavy actions that forever change Night City and Dogtown for better, or worse.
