The week many players have been waiting for finally arrived as Bungie released a ton of new information regarding the start of Season 10 forDestiny 2next week. A trailer set the stage for the continuing story line, new activities, and of course, new loot. In addition to new exotics like Tommy’s Matchbook, thetrailer showed off new Russian themed armorin honor of Rasputin being a major focus on the PvE side of the game in season 10. However, not everyone seems to be in favor of some of the new gear coming next week.
The latest weekly update from Bungie included even more planned updates coming toDestiny 2in Season 10 including a section set aside for the Eververse store. The post included a picture of the season’s exclusive armor set and Titan players immediately saw an issue. Compared to the Hunter and Warlock, the Titan set features a mishmash of colors, a massive Mark, and a bright white helmet that stands out from the rest of the armor.

Naturally, it didn’t take long for the community to latch on and poke fun at the armor set. 100T Gigz on Twitter caught the attention of Lars Bakken by posting an image of the helmet sporting a rainbow afro and red nose, making it look like a clown. Disturbingly, it doesn’t look too out of place and actually kind of fits.
Fans have already rallied behind the Warlock armor set, with many exclaiming that it may be one of the best sets in the game for the typically undeserved class. The hunter has also received plenty of praise with some even pointing out how jacked the class looks thanks to the white gauntlet that stands out from the blue sleeveless vest. Part of the Titan hate is that the set just doesn’t seem to match, almost as if the gear is made up of a bunch of random pieces that don’t go together. As one user puts it, the Titan looks like they were last in line to the 99% off bin.
Another user took it upon themselves to further improve the look of the armor adding angry eyebrows and an elaborate cardboard armor set complete with the iconic massive shoulder pads.
Season 10 begins at reset next week, which leaves only a few more days for players to wrap up content inside of the current Season of Dawn. When Season 9 ends, certain sources of gear and content will be leaving the game for good, including the possibility ofearning the Dawn seal and Savior title. Obviously, the Sundial activity, obelisks, and Timelost weapons are also getting removed, which means a major source of farmable loot is leaving entirely. Saint-14 and Bastion will remain, though players who have yet to tackle the easy to complete Devil’s Ruin exotic quest should make sure to leave some time to finish it before it leaves the game.
Destiny 2is out now for PC, PS4, Stadia, and Xbox One.
