Speaking to Dexerto, Blizzard’s Rod Fergusson revealed thatDiablo 4expansions will be “annual” with “quarterly seasons.” This meansDiablo 4fans should be able to expect a new expansion for the game in 2024 and every year after that for as long as Blizzard plans on supporting the game, assuming it truly intends on sticking with the annual release plan. This is a strategy employed by other live service games, most notablyDestiny 2, and so it will be interesting to see how it shakes out forDiablo 4.
