Disco Elysiumis a unique RPG that puts players in the shoes of a detective who has lost his memory. With the help ofhis new partner Kim Katsuragi,the main character has to solve a murder mystery while struggling through a strange new world. The game primarily uses dialogue and skill checks to progress through the main mystery in the fictional city of Martinaise.
The world ofDisco Elysiumis filled with strange characters and interactions. Some are tied tothe main murder mysterywhile others give the main character memories of his messy past life. One of these strange interactions involves a certain MC on a quest to make the most “hardcore” beats. Follow this guide to speak to Egghead.

Find the Speedfreak Tent
Players are unable to speak to the Speedfreaks untilDay 3of the investigationafter the canal has been fixed.This opens up thesouthwestern shoreof Martinaise for exploration. The tent is located past thefishing villageto the right of thelocked church.The tent will be lit up at night andis always playing music.Go to the right of the church and trace the path around to the tent.
Knock Over the Bridge
To the left of the tent is a propped up bridge. Make sure to knock it over so accessing the tent is easier for the rest of the game.
Speak to the Speedfreaks
A character named Acele is outside the tent trying to discover unique sounds. Andre, Noid, and Egghead are hanging out inside the tent. Andre and Noid will give the player the task to investigate the nearby church, so they can move in. Egghead is busy playing music and yelling “Hardcore.” Leveling with him will make later quests easier and let players speak to him in coherent sentences. His dialogue choices will send players in a confusing circle without learning anything and start the “Solve the Egghead Puzzle Task.”
Start talking to Egghead and choose these dialogue options to understand him.
Picking the last choice will end the conversation with him. Begin speaking to him again and make these choices.
If the correct choices are made players will be able to speak to Egghead normally and aid him in making his music even more hardcore.
