Escape Academyis a puzzle-based adventure game, following players as they enroll at a school dedicated to training the next generation of Escapists. Players navigate a number of unique escape rooms as they progress through the game. There are plenty of puzzles to solve along the way.
Escape Academyhas DLC available. This includesEscape Academy: Escape from Anti-Escape Island, which takes place during the Academy’s summer break. This DLC challenges players to escape an uncharted island and unravel a new conspiracy. It’s a bit more difficult than the base game. This is especially true of its final part, Into The Capture Dimension.
Getting To The Final Section
After completing the previous section, The Experiment, players will find themselves in Doctor Liz Nemeth’s lab. The Headmaster will have gained control of Nemeth’s portal, and accessing it will startInto The Capture Dimension.
Once they’ve accessed Nemeth’s portal, players will be taken into a new room. They’ll see Jeb, who’s been trapped inside a giant hourglass. It’s up to the player to rescue him.
Puzzle: Fulfill Your Destiny
This puzzle is found past the door with the purple tanks beside it. Going through it takes players to a new escape room.Jeb will be trappedin a giant tube that’s slowly filling with liquid. Players have eight minutes to solve the room’s two puzzles and free him.
Players can findthree Science Juicesin several locations:
Once they’ve found all three Science Juices, players should go up the escape room’s other ladder. There will be a padlocked container here, as well as a cylinder with four numbered balls inside. Pouring the Science Juices into the cylinder reveals the padlock’s combination:2-6-7-4.Unlocking the padlock this lets the playerturn a large wheeland unlocks the next puzzle.
Puzzle: Solve The Think Tanks
The Think Tanks puzzle is unlocked after players solve Fulfill Your Destiny. It’s the second puzzle in its escape room, and involves the three large pipes in the room. These will now be filled with colorful liquid. One also has a rubber duck inside. The duck hasthe key that ends this escape room.
To get the key, players will have to figure out a way tomake the duck float.They can do this by sorting the liquid in the pipes. The pipe on the right will need to be full of one color liquid. Players can sort the liquids by turning the three wheels near the pipes.
Here’s one way to solve The Think Tanks:
Players can use the key at the control panel once they’ve finished. The control panel is located at the very top of the tallest control panel. It will be off to the right.
Puzzle: Mind the Mines
After finishing the previous room, players are teleported back to the hub. There will still be some doors left to solve. Go through the one with bombs around it. In this room, Jeb is trapped over a landmine, and players have eight minutes to free him.
The first puzzle is figuring out the password of a locked gate. There will be a board with red and white dots on it, as well as letters. Each of these letters is assigned the pattern of the four dots surrounding it. Nearby, adisplay will flash these patternsin a loop. It spells out the password:BLAST.
Enter the password and move past the gate. Players will find themselves faced with a grid of tiles with bombs scattered throughout it. Stepping on a tile reveals a number that maps out how many bombs are nearby. It’s basicallya big game of Minesweeper. The goal is to get to the other side without stepping on a bomb.

After making it across, head down and find the bomb below Jeb. It will be a bright red. Interacting with this bomb brings players to the final puzzle, which challenges them to fill in a minesweeper grid.This is the room’s final puzzle. The solution is below:
Puzzle: Do A Crate Job
In the central hub, walk throughthe door with crates around it. Players will find several boxes in the escape room that follows. Each box contains a numbered card. There will be five of them. Find the cards and take them to the crane’s control panel.
There are arrows on the control panel. Players can use these to control the crane’s movement, and they can do thisby matching each arrowwith a numbered card. Each successful combination unlocks a crate. The correct combinations are:
Each crate contains a logic wheel. Be sure to grab them before moving on.
Puzzle: Help Jeb Off The Hook
After Do A Crate Job,head up the nearby walkwayto find another control panel. It has three slots where the control wheels can be placed. Put theyellow one on the left, the red in the center, and the blue on the right.Turn the wheels until they match the image below:
Once this is done, pull the lever. Players will teleport back to the hub, where they’ll finally be able tomove on to the next room.
Puzzle: Welcome To The Laser Zone
In the Laser Room, players will find a locked machine, and they can find the code by taking a close look at their surroundings. There will becolorful boxes with numberson them. Each number and color corresponds with a digit in the code. The boxes are also cut in half, so players should divide each by two. This gives players the code132.
Enter the code and access the machine. The goal is now touse the mirrors to direct the laser to its target.This can be a bit tricky to figure out. Players can use the image below if they need some help:
Move on to the opposite side of the machine. The code for this is237. Typing it in will reveals another laser puzzle. Players can complete this puzzle using the same strategy. The solution is below:
Afterward, players will be teleported back to the hub, where they’ll be able to free him for the final time.
