How to Complete the Still Life Clue

The freedom of this environment means most players will be finding an abundance of clues for different puzzles, so starting with the still life puzzle in the nearby Art Room building is the best way to progress. Inside the room are several drawing boards pointing towards a table with a bucket on it.

The items for this can be found around the room. Using either the still life drawings or the whiteboard list as clues will reveal the other items needed: cheese and wine. The wine bottle can be grabbed from a nearby duffel bag and the cheese is in the leftmost locker.

Solving the Invisible Maze Puzzle

Putting these items on the table and then walking around to the other side will reveal the combination for the other locker in the room. Opening it will reveal some anti-invisible ink, a useful item for putting on the blue wall at the back of the art room.

Once the ink is used, a maze is revealed. Following the lines and combination of colors will reveal the code for the nearby room. It is recommended that players work backward for an easier solve. From the top, the colored symbols will be: RED, PURPLE, YELLOW, GREEN.

When the symbols are correctly adjusted, a new room is opened up, with an unlocked container inside. Here, players should grab the spray paints. Despite being vital for beating the level though, they won’t be used until the very end.

Solving the Painting Clue

In the same room, a blue jumbled up painting can be found. to put it in the right order, players will need to place the painting in the frame mounted on the wall. The painting will automatically be shredded into usable pieces, and reshuffled into a workable picture.

Once the image has been put in the right order, players will be able to use the arrows written over the painting to unlock the Art Lab door.

How to Open the Art Lab Safe

Once inside, using the scanner will allow players to view the blank pictures along the wall. From left to right, there are three hidden symbols and a grid of squares, all of which are used to figure out the safe code.

The first shape resembles the fountain outside, which, when examined, reveals a painted symbol. Along with the second and third shapes, yellow painted symbols can be tracked down.

This means the first symbol that needs to be input in the safe will look like the yellow symbol above. The second and third hidden shapes will guide the players to the yellow symbols, and, in turn, reveal the safe combination order.

The three symbols located around the courtyard will match the buttons on the safe in the following order: empty square, empty circle, and three dots in a triangle shape. As a result, this means that pressing the 4th, 6th, and 7th blank buttons will open the safe.

Escaping The Courtyard + Face Door Solution

Inside the safe is a useful hint for escaping the courtyard, and a door knocker in the shape of a nose. This item can be taken over to the big face door at the opposite end of the courtyard past the white arches. Players will be able to put the knocker on the door, but it won’t open just yet.

In order to work out how the door opens, its facial features need to match up to the similar patterns found either side of the door. The face vases are the indicator. Examining the pedestal of all the pillars will occasionally match up to the symbol seen inside the safe.

This means that players need to match the facial features of the door as shown on the first, fourth, and seventh cases. To do so, they’ll have to change the eyes so that they point right, tilt both of the eyebrows to the left, and select the half-open mouth before knocking and unlocking the door.

The First Chamber Statue Puzzle + Solution

Once the door is open, there are a few more things that need to be done before the mural can be tagged. In order to progress, the nearby keys at the centre of the room (2 and 5) need to be picked up and used to open the chamber labeled 7 with yellow paint.

The pictures outside the chamber show four people facing different directions. Unlocking the next chamber requires players to match up the pictures to the statues and turn them in their respective directions. As shown above, the solution is: left, right, left, right.

More keys are provided after solving this puzzle, labeled 3, 4, and 7. To open the second chamber, keys 3 and 7 are needed with a number 10 painted in yellow.

The Second Chamber Statue Puzzle + Solution

As before, the statues on the inside need to match the alive/dead status of the people in the pictures framing the chamber. All headless figures need to have their statue head broken. As shown above, the order is: Dead, Alive, Dead, Alive, Dead, Alive.

Once completed, one more key labeled “1” will be revealed. Players should combine this with the 4 key to open the third chamber, which is denoted by the number 5 painted in yellow by the door.

The Third Chamber Statue Puzzle + Solution

Once the third chamber is open, a similar puzzle needs to be completed. The five pictures show an assortment of people, and the player needs to use logic to work out the respective height of each person.

This can be done by using the fence height as a guide, which appears in three of the pictures. The cowboy is clearly taller than the fence, while the bald man and bespectacled man are shorter. Then, by comparing the height of the two women in the other photos, players will be able to get a reliable height chart.

In case the solution still eludes players, the proper answer from left to right is: woman with long hair, bespectacled man, bespectacled woman, bald man, cowboy. When the order is correct, the final gate will open, granting access to the mural.

All the player needs to do at this point is use the spray paint item on the mural, after which the timer will stop and the escape room is complete. Professor Slip will also comment on the progress afterwards, which should come with a satisfactory grade.
