Capcom’sExoprimalthrusts players into temporally distorted war games comprised of two teams of five. These two teams compete against each other to complete mission objectives, while fighting back hordes of dinosaurs. On top of gearing up their individual Exosuit, players must focus on building a diverse team of Exosuits that will synergize better than the opposing team.

The support Exosuits inExoprimalare responsible for team healing and buffs. Each suit has its own unique functions and abilities, including the Witchdoctor Exosuit. A nimble moving suit with incredible healing powers, the Witchdoctor can provide immense control when completing objectives, repairing allied suits, and providing over shields to keep them dishing out damage on the onslaught of dinosaurs. With the proper gear and play style, players who take Witchdoctor into their war games can provide the edge their team needs to achieve victory.

Witchdoctor’s Abilities and Stats

Although the Witchdoctor may fall short regarding damage output, the Exosuit’s ability to control the fight through allied healing and enemy suppression canprovide a path to victory. The Witchdoctor excels in close range to enemies and allies. While it may not be the strongest Exosuit, Witchdoctor does have a few tricks available to quickly get in and out of danger, optimizing its support capabilities.

Witchdoctor has only one offensive ability, theNeuro Rod.While Neuro Rod doesn’t deal a lot of damage (typically hitting for 2 damage on enemies), successive damage on the same target will eventually cause a shocking effect that will stun enemies temporarily, preventing them from attacking and allowing allies to take them down.

Best Modules & Rigs For The Witchdoctor Exosuit

With the rig customization available in Exoprimal, players have the opportunity to experiment with play style and tactics. Players who want to focus on defensive tactics with the Witchdoctor should elect for theAid or Shield Rigs. Both of these rigs excel at getting players and their teammates out of dangerous situations, making Witchdoctor even better at keeping teammates alive. Players who prefer more offensive strategies will excel with theBlade Rig, which adds another paralyzing ability to Witchdoctor’s kit, compounding enemy suppression capabilities.

When selecting modules for Witchdoctor, theShock Therapy moduleis highly recommended. This module reduces the amount of time required to paralyze an enemy, ultimately resulting in more paralyzed enemies before Neuro Rod needs to recharge. This module synergizes well with theReload Efficiency module, which will increase the recharge rate not only of Neuro Rod, but Witchdoctor’s healing abilities as well. Rounded out with theHi-Xol Compression Moduleto increase the overdrive charge rate, Witchdoctor is set to be a shockingly rejuvenating ally to any war game team.

Tips For Playing Witchdoctor

While Witchdoctor is most effective when close to the action, it doesn’t take much for this suit to get overwhelmed. With a smaller health pool and almost no abilities capable of defeating enemies, players will want to be mindful of their positioning, as well as the positioning of their teammates. Even if situations seem perilous, it is best to stick close to allies. This way, players can use Witchdoctor’s mobility and heals to sustain teammates while rapidly exiting and reentering the danger zone.

Rescue Leap is an immensely resourceful tool in this aspect, as players can look directly up while casting to launch themselves high into the air. Follow this with another jump and use Witchdoctor’s glide to stay temporarily airborne, maintaining positioning close to the team, but out of the direct battle. Drop back into the fray to cast a Repair Field when allies need assistance or some shock suppression is required.
