Now, developer Phoenix Labs has announced the first major content update forFae Farm, Coasts of Croakia. The update will be free for Nintendo Switch and included in the PC Deluxe Edition (but not for the Standard Edition). The developers confirmed that the update will bring a “whole new realm to explore, with exciting encounters and discoveries,” as well as new characters to interact with, and more quests. The creators have also hinted at a new gameplay mechanic, which was not specified. Aesthetically, Coasts of Croakia seems to have a strong frog-inspired theme, with the newly released video showing characters exploring swamps and encountering giant frogs.
Unfortunately, the details surroundingFae Farm’s Coasts of Croakia are still pretty thin at the moment, including information about the size of the new location to be explored.Fae Farmincludes romances, but it’s not yet known if there will be new romanceable characters, for example. So, it’s best to wait for new updates before speculating too much on the scope of the changes.

So far, 2023 has seen the release of titles likeRoots of Pacha,Story of Seasons: A Wonderful Life,Harvest Island, andMy Time At Sandrock, among others. Of these titles,My Time At Sandrockwas a big hit. Not only has the game climbed into the “Top Paid” Xbox charts in the US and the UK a week after its release, but it also received very positive Metacritic scores, with 83 on PC, and 81 on PS5. Hopefully, the new expansion will helpFae Farmto stand out.
