Summary
AFallout 4player has completed an impressive challenge run of the game while roleplaying as Lucy MacLean, the protagonist of the recentFalloutTV series.Fallout 4has seen a huge boost in popularity lately, thanks to the TV show of which Ella Purnell’s Lucy MacLean is the star.
Fallout 4is a game in which players are encouraged to complete repeat playthroughs to see all the content available. The game certainly has enough to keep players going for hundreds of hours, but for many gamers, even that isn’t enough. Challenge runs are a great way to switch up the experience, putting self-imposed limitations on a playthrough to make it interesting once again. This doesn’t just apply toFallout 4- all games in the series are solid choices for this kind of thing. One player even beatFallout: New Vegaswhile roleplaying as Ronald Reagan, making decisions as if they were the former U.S. president.
YouTuber Nerbit shared their latestFallout 4playthrough, in which they roleplayed as Lucy MacLean, the protagonist of theFalloutTV show. To complete this, several mods were downloaded, including theFallout 4mod that adds Lucy’s pistol to the game. They even downloaded a custom face model, to make her appearance as accurate as possible. The core of the run was simple: help as many factions as possible. After all, Lucy is portrayed as naive to the dangers of the world in theFalloutTV show, so it makes sense that she would help everyone throughoutFallout 4’s story for as long as possible.
Fallout 4 Lucy MacLean Playthrough
Nerbit is certainly no stranger to Bethesda challenge runs. Their YouTube channel is centered around completing Bethesda games in new and interesting ways, often imposing limitations that make the playthroughs much harder. Not too long ago, NerbitbeatFallout 4using only a rolling pin, which proved to be about as frustrating as most would expect. At the end of the Lucy MacLean playthrough, Nerbit hinted that The Ghoul may be up next for a challenge run, as there are already mods based on the character which would make it possible to complete.
Challenge runs ofFallout 4are interesting, but there are certainly many gamers out there to see what Bethesda now has in store for the future of the franchise. The success of the TV show definitely has the potential to fast-track a new title in the series, and withBethesda wanting to increase its outputgoing forward, it seems that may be the case forFallout. Nothing is confirmed, however, and withThe Elder Scrolls 6still on the horizon, players shouldn’t expect to see a new mainlineFalloutany time soon, at least not from Bethesda.
