At today’s Ubisoft Forward event, the developer unveiled a gorgeous cinematic trailer forFar Cry 6,and for those interested in the Collector’s Edition, they’ll get a specialized in-game weapon replica.
The upcomingFar Cry 6will be set in Yara, Cuba, and will encompass a violent dictatorship headed by the game’s antagonist, Anton Castillo. His soldiers brandish many weapons to subdue Yara’s citizens, including flamethrowers. And now, fans can get life-sized model flamethrowers with their purchase of the Collector’s Edition ofFar Cry 6.

In addition to the main game, purchasers of the collector’s edition ofFar Cry 6will get access to the Season Pass, which includes “additional content including 3 DLCs and more;” a unique steelbook featuring alternate art and an art book, the game’s ultimate edition, exclusive in-game items; and most interestingly, a flamethrower replica. This is a great edition for gaming collectors and cosplayers alike.
Also available for purchase on Ubisoft’s website areFar Cry 6’s Gold Edition, which includes the main game and season pass to the DLCs, as well as the Ultimate Edition, which includes the same items as well as the Ultimate Pack, which is additional player skins.
The upcoming addition to theFar Cryseries will star Giancarlo Esposito, well-known for his villain role as Gus Fring in the hit TV seriesBreaking Bad. He’s played a number of villains in the past, including Disney’s ongoing series,The Mandalorian, and he will continue his sinister antagonist saga with his role as Anton Castillo, who seems to share an interestingfather-son relationship with Diego.
The player will follow Dani Rojas, a former military drop out who wanted nothing more than to avoid the revolution, which meant avoiding Anton and his song Diego as well. But somehow, he still got swept up with the antagonist and the guerilla Libertad movement.
Far Cry 6is currently available for pre-order. Anyone who purchases the game on current-gen consoles (PlayStation 4 or Xbox One) will be able to upgrade their game to the console’s successors at no additional cost. Additionally, pre-order purchasers will get access to “The Libertad Pack”: a deadly disc launcher and an outfit for the dog, Chorizo.
Far Cry 6will be available on June 10, 2025, on PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X, Xbox One, Stadia, and PC.
