Final Fantasy 14is doing another rerun of The Maiden’s Rhapsody, itsFF11crossover event, in preparation forDawntrail. Fans can experience thisFinal Fantasy 14event again or for the first time from January 22 through February 5.

The Maiden’s Rhapsody was one ofFinal Fantasy 14’s original FF11 crossover events released in celebration ofRhapsodies of Vana’diel, the final story content for the game before its surprise return in 2020 withThe Voracious Resurgence. The event first ran in 2015, butFF14brought it back againin 2017, 2020, and 2022.

Now, The Maiden’s Rhapsody is coming back toFinal Fantasy 14again in the months beforeDawntrail. From January 22 through February 5, players can venture to Limsa Lominsa and pick up the quest, A Journey To Remember, from Remumu to begin their adventure as they help Iroha, a major hero fromFinal Fantasy 11, regain her memories and battle fiends across Eorzea. Fans who complete this event can earn the Amatsu glamour set – an undyable outfit worn by Iroha herself.

When is the Final Fantasy 14 x FF11 Crossover Event?

Players who have already completed this event during a previous run can play through it again using the Seasonal Event Replay feature by speaking with Remumu. Fans won’t be able to earn any additional rewards, but they can experience the story once again. Doing so will be especially important this time, asDawntrailis having a biggerFinal Fantasy 11collaborationas a part of the expansion’s Alliance raid series.

This isn’t the onlyFinal Fantasycrossover coming to the game over the next few months.Final Fantasy 14is having anFF 16crossover eventin early April, giving players the chance to collect Clive’s outfit and a Torgal mount and minion inFinal Fantasy 14by completing a unique questline featuring a special instanced battle against Ifrit.

TheXbox version ofFinal Fantasy 14is entering beta soon, with its full launch planned for this spring. Though players on the new platform won’t be able to enjoy theFinal Fantasy 11crossover, they should be able to play theFF16one. Many fans are also hopingFinal Fantasy 14considers doing reruns of other collaboration events once it goes live, especially considering the four-person Regalia mount was given out as a part of theFF15crossover. While it has yet to announce reruns of these events, it is possibleFinal Fantasy 14will do so once a fresh community of players is fully formed on the new console.
