Thecrossover events inFortnitehave been key in its success as it has allowed the game to attract fans of other franchises and also enabled the title to add themed features. It has long been rumored that the heroes of Marvel would arrive in the game and the reveal trailer for the Season 4 Battle Pass showcases a variety of characters that will be in the title.
The game has previously teamed up with comic book characters such as Aquaman and Harley Quinn, but this new roster adds more than a specific character with a theme. The comic book heroes and villains find themselves in the world ofFortniteas they prepare to fight Galactus, who is a huge villain from the Marvel comics. Interestingly, typical good and bad guys are fighting alongside each other in this season and the roster includes Mystique, Iron Man, Wolverine, Groot, Thor, Doctor Doom, and She-Hulk. All of these characters have their signature abilities which include thunder, strength, and blasters, although it is unlikely that Wolverine will be invincible.
