Breaking the long streak ofno new Geo characterssince Yunjin inGenshin Impact, Navia has been eagerly awaited by fans and is a key figure in Fontaine’s storyline, serving as the president of the Spina di Rosula. In terms of gameplay, Navia is positioned to provide asolid alternative to Ittoas a prominent Geo DPS character. Her focus lies in incorporating different elemental characters into the team while leveraging the Crystallize reaction.

Navia proves to be a relatively straightforward character to build, offering access to various options. While the optimal build may vary based on specific team compositions or what role players may want to utilize Navia as (main or sub DPS), particularly in terms of artifact and weapon choices, here are some recommended builds for Navia as aMain DPS that aim to maximize utility, catering to all players' preferences.

In the 4.3 version update, players will have the opportunity to farm the new artifact set, Nighttime Whispers in the Echoing Woods, tailored specifically for Navia. This set proves to be the optimal choice for players aiming to fully optimize Navia’s performance. Conversely, players with existing well-suited main and sub-stats from other sets, like Archaic Petra, may also consider blending this set with a 2-piece ATK bonus set (including Nighttime Whispers). This approach can help save time for long farming sessions in this artifact domain and resources, especially until players acquire suitable replacement pieces from the Nighttime Whispers set.

Another viable option worth considering for Navia is the Marecchaussee Hunter set, especially if playersplan to pair Navia with Furina. This becomes crucial in effectively utilizing the set, given that Navia, unlike some other Fontaine Main DPS characters such as Neuvillette or Wriothesley, lacks an HP drain and gain mechanic. Additionally,Navia may have a shield dueto the Crystallize reaction hence, making it also difficult to drain hp by being attacked more difficult. As such, for those aiming to create aGeneralist build, the 4-piece Marecchaussee Hunter set can be effectively used alongside Furina as a party member.

Geo-1

In terms of artifact main and sub-stats, players will notice that Navia’s build closely resembles that of most other ATK-scaling DPS characters. Consequently, players should aim for an ATK% Sands, a Crit DMG or Crit Rate Circlet based on the greater need, and finally, a Geo DMG Bonus Goblet for the main stats. Players can also consider giving an ATK% Goblet to Navia if a suitable Geo DMG Bonus circlet is unavailable. However, it’s worth noting that since Navia can attain ATK through her artifact set bonuses or potentially her weapon, opting for an ATK% Goblet may result in diminishing returns.

When it comes to sub-stats, the priority should be placed on Crit Rate/Crit DMG, Energy Recharge, and ATK% stats. Other stats like Elemental Mastery are not particularly beneficial for Geo characters.

The 5-star limited weapon, Verdict, accompanying Navia’s event banner, not only boasts a visually distinctive design but also stands as her signature weapon, unsurprisingly serving as her best-in-slot weapon. However, players have arange of other options, both 4-star and 5-star, depending on their access. The next best weapon after Verdict is Serpent Spine, particularly if players have it at maximum refinement. Additional options like Wolf’s Gravestone, especially with refinements earned overtime, can be a solid choice for those whoprefer not to purchase the battle pass. Surprisingly, the newer Battle Pass claymore weapon, Talking Stick, can also be effective on Navia in particular with the right build, though if players have a choice between the two, Serpent Spine proves to be the superior option.

Navia also benefits from shop-exclusive choices such as Blackcliff Slasher or even 5-star signature weapons for other characters like The Unforged or Beacon of the Reed Sea, if players prefer them. For a completely F2P-friendly option, the upcoming event-limited weapon, Ultimate Overlord’s Mega Magic Sword, also known as the Melusine Claymore, will be the best choice especially allowing players to have more purpose for following along the stories of Melusine Ancient Colors quest line.

Fontaine Emblem Final

All of Navia’s talents are valuable to level up, but her primary source of damage comes from her Elemental Skill. Consequently, players should prioritize leveling up the Elemental Skill first. For the remaining talents, as a main DPS, Navia benefits most from leveling up Normal ATK next, with her Elemental Burst being the last but still a useful option. On the other hand, for off-field sub-DPS Navia, Normal ATK can be given lower priority. In summary, the leveling priority should be:
