Genshin Impactupdates feature two banner cycles and players have the option to pull for a character or wait for the next one. Each banner cycle includes one or two five-star characters and three four-stars.

Developer Hoyoverse has been introducing banner re-runs very frequently toGenshin Impact, and it seems like every update consists of two banners, a new character, and a re-run. The currentGenshin Impactupdate 2.5 has brought a new Electro character Yae Miko, as well as a double banner featuring Raiden Shogun and Sangonomiya Kokomi.

A recent post on theGenshin Impactsubreddit shows a chart of the most pulled banners in the game so far. The chart has been taken from the popularGenshin Impactstat website named GenshinLab, and it shows the incredible success of theElectro Archon - Raiden Shogun, who’s a part of the second banner cycle of update 2.5. The current double banner re-run featuring Raiden Shogun and Sangonomiya Kokomi is ranked second behind Raiden’s first banner which was released back in update 2.1. Even though she’s the third released Archon, Raiden Shogun has already surpassed her colleagues - Venti and Zhongli.

Since her release, Raiden Shogun has become a must-have character, and it’s safe to say that she’s played a huge role in shaping the current meta. She’s considered to be thestrongest support character inGenshin Impactat the moment, on par with Zhongli and Kazuha. Raiden is an Energy Recharge machine which makes her a crucial part for parties that have energy problems.

One of Raiden Shogun’s biggest draws is probably that she’s a very free-to-play friendly five-star character inGenshin Impactsince she’s a top-tier support even at zero constellations. While mostGenshin Impact’s five-star charactersare required to be pulled numerous times to build up their constellations and awake their true potential, the difference between Raiden’s C0 and C6 levels is not nearly as big.

Even though the chart represents Raiden’s and Kokomi’s numbers combined, most players have probably opted for the Electro Archon. However, Sangonomiya Kokomi is a Hydro Catalyst character and one of thebest healers inGenshin Impact. With her excellent healing skills and respectable elemental damage output, she would make an excellent addition to any party, and many players online have noted she could be of great value in the upper levels of the current Spiral Abyss.
