AGenshin Impactchart reveals how well the ongoing Nahida and Nilou double banner did in its first week when it comes to revenue. Updates consist of two banner cycles, each of which offers two limited five-star characters and three four-stars. These Limited Character Banners usually last for 3-4 weeks before a new set of characters takes their place.

Even though the ongoingGenshin Impactupdate cycle does not include any new roster additions, it features two popular Sumeru characters, the Dendro Archon Nahida and the star of the Zubayr Theater known as Nilou. Players who want to acquire these playable units don’t have too much time as their banner is scheduled to expire in a couple of days.

A Reddit user by the name TimocaSamJa has shared an interesting chart that shows the first-week sales for the ongoing double banner featuring Nilou and Nahida. According to the post, the banner sits at the 8th spot on the overall revenue list. Many players claim that even though reaching the top 10 on the list can be considered a success for any banner, they actually expected it to rank even higher as it features the first re-run for the famous Dendro Archon Nahida. Since her release in version 3.1,Nahida has been the strongest Dendro character in the gamethanks to a very flexible kit and great Dendro application. Her first banner appearance alongside Yoimiya even managed to breakGenshin Impact’s overall sales record at the time.

One of the reasons why the banner did not rank higher could be that the second character, Nilou, is a very niche unit at least compared to most other supports in the game. Nilou’s whole kit revolves around a singleelemental reaction named Bloomwhich can be triggered by combining Dendro and Hydro. This reaction will drop small Dendro cores on the ground which explode after a couple of seconds.

Nahida’s passive talents transform these cores into Bountiful Cores which have a much larger AoE and deal more damage. Many players that don’t want to play around this elemental reaction probably avoided pulling for her. Another reason why many players skipped the banner could be the fact that HoYoverse confirmed that the second banner cycle will feature twonewGenshin Impactcharacters.

BothBaizhu and Kaveh are confirmed to be Dendro usersand their primary role will most likely be support. Going by HoYoverse’s usual update schedule, players can expect them to arrive around May 2.

Genshin Impactis now available on Mobile, PC, PS4, and PS5. A Switch version is in development.
