The Cyro-themed light blue controller features sigils that are typically found onChongyun’s outfit and exorcist charms, and the thumbsticks, back buttons, and face buttons are painted with a dark blue shade. The controller natively supports SteamOS as well, so Steam Deck users may use the newGenshin Impactcontroller in other games.

ManyGenshin Impactfans on Twitter are excited about the new 8BitDo controller, but the announcement also sparked more debates and discussion regarding controller support for the Android version. Some users are irritated that they can’t use their favorite controllers while playingGenshin Impacton Android, such as the Razer Kishi. Past speculation in the community suggests HoYoverse signed an agreement with Apple forGenshin Impact, resulting in the lack of new features for the Android version. However, details of such an agreement have not been explicitly revealed by HoYoverse.

Fortunately, Apple and PC users may use the controller while exploring the new content found inGenshin ImpactVersion 4.3. Version 4.3 is expected to release in mid-December, and HoYoverse will likely host a special program to reveal more information regarding the new update.
