Genshin Impacthas a wide variety of characters, each with different weapons, elemental visions, personalities, and more. Inevitably, players land on one character as their favorite from the ever expanding cast, but it can be somewhat difficult to find information about these characters without reading heavily into their backstories. Onecommon fan favorite is Fischl, who introduces herself as the “Prinzessin Der Verurteilung,” or the princess of condemnation. She’s a popular character for many reasons, ranging from her appearance to her use as a potent support DPS and the fact that she’s readily available as a 4-star character.
When it comes to figuring out the age of characters inGenshin Impact, or any anime-like property for that matter, things can get somewhat tricky. Fischl is clearly younger than other female characters like Lisa or Beidou, but just how much younger is difficult to say. At no point does the game outright state her current age, but players can get an estimate with a bit of critical thinking.

The only concrete information on Fischl’s age is that she received her Electro vision at the age of 14. This means that at the very least, Fischl is 14 years old, but another snippet of information points towards her being older than that. According to the game’s main story and lore, there hasn’t been a single Electro vision handed out to anyone for two years, becauseBaal the Electro Archonis hording them for herself for reasons unknown. With this information, players can know that at the very least, she got her vision no sooner than two years ago. Add it all together and it means thatFischl is at least 16 years old.
Anything beyond this is mere speculation, as it is impossible to know for certain how long she has had her Vision for. Sheworks as an investigator for the Mondstadt Adventurer’s Guild, but this doesn’t provide any information because there doesn’t seem to be any minimum age requirement to join up with that association. What’s more, her past is shrouded in mystery for the most part, as she claims that she is from a far away land called Immernachtreich, or the Realm of Always Night.
If 16 seems young for the character, it may surpriseGenshin Impactplayers to learn that she is actually around the same age as many others in the game. What’s more, there are even several characters that are younger than her, including Klee, Diona, and Xiangling. It seems as though there aren’t manylaws preventing child labor in Teyvat.
Genshin Impactis available now for Mobile, PC, and PS4, and later on Switch.
