The monster is said to be created by Gold, an Alchemist who designed many demons, and even corrupted a giant dragon. Many believe that Gold is an alias for Rhinedottir, the master (and creator) ofthe Chalk Price, Albedo. In the recent event inGenshin Impact2.3, Gold is confirmed to be Rhinedottir.
Golden Wolflord Location In Genshin Impact
The Wolflord can be found in thepreviously-empty lot in Tsurumi Island. It’s accessible by using the Teleport Waypoint south of Tsurumi. At first glance, there’s only a “rift” visible.To summon the boss,Travelers have to walk closer to this rift.
How To Defeat The Golden Wolflord
The Golden Wolflord, like the other Rifthounds, has the ability to float. However, this time, the boss can fly out of the reach of melee attacks. Therefore, the first tip to defeat the Wolflord is touse ranged characters(Bow or Catalyst).
Next, the Wolf can also applyCorrosiondebuff when hitting the players.
This effect is nothing if Travelers can kill the boss quickly, but for those who are struggling, then they need tohave a dedicated healer. Characters like Bennett and Diona are viable, but not overly recommended. Instead, players will want tobring out Barbarafor an easier fight.
After the Golden Wolflord loses around one-third of its HP, the boss will shield itself and summonthree Rifthound Skulls. While shielded, the monster is invulnerable to any kind of damage. This phase can be skipped if players can one-shot the boss before then.
These Skulls can be destroyed by using Elemental attacks.Any Element works, but Geo damage is the most effective. For example,Ningguang can destroythe Skull in three hits while Ayaka needs around 30 hits.

Because the system only cares about the number of hits (instead of the amount of damage),players can easily put a low-level Ningguang in their team for this one job. Other Geo characters aren’t as reliable because they need their skills to deal Geo damage.
However, as this boss is a Geo monster, Geo characters are generally highly viable. Like the normal Rifthounds, the Wolflord can enterDevourer State. In this state, their attack becomes stronger, but their corresponding-element’s resistance is lowered. This meansat one point, the Wolflord is weaker to Geothan other types of damage.
After the Skulls are destroyed, the boss will lose its shield and fall to the ground. Like typical bosses, this is the time to quickly defeat the Wolflord.
