Genshin Impactupdate 2.3 has brought a double banner re-run which means that there were no new characters in the previous couple of weeks. However, miHoYo’s official social media accounts have already revealed two new characters players will see in update 2.4 forGenshin Impact, Shenhe and Yun Jin.
The most recentGenshin Impact2.3 Livestream has revealed which two characters players will have the options to pull for during the upcoming three-week period.Eula is one of the game’s strongest DPS charactersand she has been on the character banner for almost three weeks now alongside Albedo. However, many fans are now ready for Ittor to arrive though there are questions as to which four-star characters will accompany him.

Genshin Impactupdate 2.3 is not even halfway through and there are already new leaks emerging about 2.4 which will apparently bring abrand new region named Enkanomiya. However, a recent post on the Genshin_Impact_Leaks subreddit has brought attention to the current banner by revealing the four-star characters which will be featured on the second banner cycle for update 2.3. According to the leak, the banner will include the following characters:
The addition of two new characters on the same banner will be heavily compensated by adding Barbara and Xiangling who are obtainable for free through a couple of quests.Arataki Itto has been leaked multiple timesover the last couple of months and players will finally have the opportunity to pull for him. This witty character has quickly become a fan favorite thanks to his interesting appearance and goofy behavior. Itto will most likely be a DPS character considering that his ascension attribute is Critical Damage, which already gives him a head-start in the DPS scale against most characters. When it comes to his Elemental Burst, it will provide a buff for a couple of seconds, similar to Razor’s or Beidou’s Elemental Burst. The buff will allow his Normal, Charged and Plunged attack to deal Geo damage.
Developer miHoYo has intentionally putGorou on the same banner as Ittobecause they have a very great synergy. Gorou’s whole kit is based on having multiple Geo users in his party. He is actually one of the weakest characters in the game if not paired with two one or two Geo characters. A recent post on the Genshin_Impact_Leaks subreddit has revealed that a Geo party with Albedo, Itto, Zhongli and Gorou has a slightly stronger DPS potential compared to when you swap in Bennet for Gorou.
Genshin Impactis now available on Mobile, PC, PS4, and PS5. A Switch version is in development.
