Genshin Impactplayers have noticed an interesting detail about four playable characters that belong to the Sumeru region. This mysterious Dendro nation was added to the game back in update 3.0. This region also introduced the last remaining element, Dendro, which had a significant impact on the game’s character meta.
So far,Genshin Impacthas introduced 12 different Sumeru characters with the five-star Dehya being the most recent addition. She was part of the first banner cycle for the ongoing update 3.5 which included another Sumeru character, the Electro user Cyno, also known as General Mahamantra.

Reddit user SofiaPizza has pointed out an interesting similarity between four different Sumeru characters, Dori, Layla, Dehya, and Kaveh. The thing that all these four characters have in common seems to be their laziness, at least when they are in combat. For example, the Electro user Doridoes not even hold her claymore when performing Normal Attacks. Instead, her weapon seems to be floating around her while she sits on a comfortable pillow. When it comes to her power on the field, Dori is one of the best four-star supports for players that need decent a lot of Energy Recharge in their team composition.
Layla is a four-star Cryo support, completely devoted to her studies which often leads to extreme sleep deprivation. Layla has reached such high levels of exhaustion that she develops an alternate personality while sleepwalking. She can even fall asleep in the middle of a fight thanks to her Elemental Skill, Nights of Formal Focus, which creates a very powerful shield that can protect her from incoming attacks even when she’s sleeping.
The new five-star Pyro user Dehya is one of the few characters that can deal damage even when the player is completely AFK. Everything Travelers need to do is level Dehya’s “Stalwart and True” passive talent and equip her withthe Ocean-hued Clam artifact set. The passive makes Dehya regenerate health whenever it drops below 40% and this effect lasts for 12 seconds. The four-piece bonus effect of the artifact set will deal damage in an area whenever its holder provides a healing effect which results in a constant DoT effect whenever her passive gets triggered.
The Dendro user Kaveh is the fourth character mentioned in this post and while he is yet to officially join the roster, therecentGenshin ImpactSpecial Program eventalready revealed his complete kit. Similar to Dori, Kaveh avoids using his Claymore when he’s in combat which, according to a couple of comments, perfectly fits his personality.
Genshin Impactis now available on Mobile, PC, PS4, and PS5. A Switch version is in development.
