In any game where one’s look can be customized, there are those who seek to express themselves within it.Ghost of Tsushimaplayers can dye their armor, leading to a broad range of styles which reflect the warriors behind The Ghost.
Players can dye their armor inGhost of Tsushimaby speaking with merchants, thoughfinding the two black or white dye merchantscan be tricky. Early on, players can gather flowers to take to Hyoshi Springs or a nearby survivor camp to trade for the dyes, though the survivor camps may not rotate their stock. That means right out the gate, players are given a lot of play with their armor appearance.

A fashion thread on ResetEra started a discussion of how a warrior should dress for battle. User ScOULaris was particularly fond of The Ghost’s signature armor (pictured in the featured image), which they dyed black and paired with tasteful red accents, because “I’m a ninja boi at heart.” Others opted for the protective samurai helmets with scale mail neck guards and antlers.
Some players found themselves roaming thefeudal Japanese landscapein the ever-popular “I am just a simple wanderer” look.
One player on the thread, MunsaultSlayer,tried to recreate Tekken’s Yoshimitsu.
Some of the shared images were so perfectly composed they could be framed as works of art. Most of them would not be possible withoutGhost of Tsushima’sdynamic weather system.

And, of course, there’s the, “I am a grand master of Monkey Style and I will beat you with my madness” look. Though the first image is more of aJackie Chan lands a role inPlanet of the Apeslook. “My roommate has been playing it,” PlanetSmasher says. “[This look is] impossible to take seriously, but endlessly entertaining.”
And as if that weren’t enough inspiration for legendary warriors out there, PlayStation also wants players to know thatthey can dress as Sly Cooper inGhost of Tsushima.
So whether one’s preferred style is more archer, samurai, ninja, or something else entirely, Sucker Punch Productions has made it possible for players to show off their true colors.Ghost of Tsushimahas opened the door for a lot of self expression, and a surprising amount of opportunity for virtual photography.
