The newestBatmantitle,Gotham Knights,has been officially unveiled and many in the gaming community are looking forward to it. The previous installment,Batman: Arkham Knight, was released five years ago and while the prospect of not playing as the Dark Knight may upset some,Gotham Knightsoffers an incredibly wide range of options and variety in terms of content.

This game has been teased for quite some time now. WhileGotham Knightsleaked last month, the finer details of the game were very few and far between. Many conclusions that fans of the series drew were based largely on hearsay and conjecture, none of which were very reliable. Though, now that the game has been officially revealed, quite a number of details regardingGotham Knightshave been revealed as well.

TheGotham Knightsreveal trailershowed off multiple playable characters from the Bat-Family, including Nightwing, Batgirl, Red Hood, and Robin. Based on the reveal trailer, as well as the subsequent gameplay trailer, it seems like the game will feature multiple different storylines similar toBatman: Arkham Knight. However, a much more curious detail was revealed after the official reveal.

It has been confirmed by a developer thatGotham Knightswill have versions available for the PlayStation 5 and the Xbox Series X, in addition to releasing on the previous generation of consoles. This will give plenty of gaming enthusiasts the chance to take on theCourt of Owlson whatever console they want.

It’s nice to see that this game will be accessible to so many players. Although, there are still numerous details that went unaddressed in terms of what had been leaked. For example,the rumor that Two-Facewould be featured in the game never got addressed. The only villains that were confirmed in the reveal trailer were the Court of Owls and Mr. Freeze.

In any case, this game will be sure to provide plenty of content for players to enjoy. With multiple playable characters, a world map similar in scale toBatman: Arkham Knight, and plenty of other gameplay features, this game will be sure to please many upon its initial launch. Though, hopefully the PC version of the game fairs better thanBatman: Arkham Knight,which featured numerous technical issueslong after it first launched on PC.
