The untitled Jon Snow project continues to remain an enigma, even though theGame of Thronescast has teased the show on multiple occasions. This time it’s Brienne of Tarth herself, Gwendoline Christie, who’s teasing the project.Game of Thronesran for 8 seasons between 2011 and 2019. A sprawling fantasy epic, the series featured a large ensemble cast. The plot revolvedaround the claimants for the Iron Throne, the center of power on the continent of Westeros. Their squabbling was pointless and ultimately worked to weaken humanity against true, existential threats, such as the White Walkers of the North, who sought to turn humanity into their undead thralls for reasons unknown. The series' eighth and final season, however, was highly controversial, if not universally disliked. Jon Snow actor Kit Harington appears to have pitched this new project to continue the storyline of the show.RELATED:House Of The Dragon: Dragons That Will Appear In Season 2Access Hollywoodcaught up with Christie on the red carpet premiere ofWednesday, and the interviewer asked Christie about the possibility of her appearing on the Jon Snow spin-off. Christie joked, “Oh, in the new Jon Snow spin-off? Well, I really don’t know about that - I think it depends if Kit Harington remembers quite how many favors he owes me. And if the writing’s any good - I believe he’s doing it himself.” She laughed uproariously at that, before clarifying, “No, I have spoken to Kit about it, and I’m really delighted for him - he was so legendary in that role, really. He’s a great actor - Kit Harington, and he committed his life to that role. And I think we all want to see more of it.”

Behind Christie’s jokes, her reluctance to reveal any information mirrorsHarington’s own secrecy around theGame of ThronesJon Snow sequel. While fans have been speculating about what the show could possibly be about, nothing concrete has been revealed. A logline for the series has yet to be released, as it appears to be in the early stages of development.

Given thatHouse of the Dragonbrought up the Prince That Was Promisedprophecy, which involves a Targaryen prince saving the world from an existential threat from the North, it’s possible the ground is already being laid for the spin-off. InGame of Thrones,it’s Arya Stark (Maisie Williams) who puts an end to the threat of the White Walkers. Perhaps Jon Snow will have to face a bigger and more worrisome threat and fulfill House Targaryen’s greatest prophecy.

With Brienne still alive at the end ofGame of Thrones(and the Lord Commander of the Kingsguard), it’s entirely possible she’s acharacter who could appear in the Jon Snow sequel. Her liege is Brandon Stark (Isaac Hempstead-Wright), who is heavily involved with the magic of the North, so it wouldn’t be a surprise for one of his swords to appear alongside him if Jon Snow calls on him to help.
