AHalo Infiniteplayer online has shared their incredible Forge PvP creation based onDestiny’s Vex. WithBungie creating bothHaloandDestiny, both of these franchises are unintentionally linked, but this creation brings them both together in a brand-new way.
The potential ofHalo Infinite’s Forge Mode seems to be absolutely mind-blowing. Developer 343 Industries took its time adding the feature into the game, coming far later than anyone could have anticipated. It’s hard to deny that it’s been worth the wait though, even allowing scripting for more tech-savvy creators to dive in-depth into the map creator. One player evenrecreatedLion King’s Pride Rock inHalo Infinite’s Forge. While it doesn’t exactly show everything Forge mode is capable of, it goes to show how players are already using it to pay tribute to their existing favorites.

Redditor peacenattress shared the amazing creation, which borrows the Vex style and implements it intoHalo Infinite. InDestiny, the Vex are a species that work to turn planets into vast machines, and the way this creation translates that visually in another game engine is absolutely brilliant. Best of all, it looks completely functional, too, so it seems like it would be a blast to jump into this map on eitherHalo InfiniteorDestiny 2.
While players in the thread enjoyed the creation, they took the opportunity to poke fun at the lack of newDestiny 2PvP maps. One user even claimed that “Halogets a newDestinyPvP map beforeDestiny,” which is quite unfortunate to think about.Destiny 2’s PvP certainly has a lot of problemsthat the community isn’t happy about, and the lack of new maps is arguably the biggest of them all. Another user in their thread showed their discontent by saying “I bet they didn’t spend 2 years to make that map either,” which is a massive bit of shade thrown toward Bungie.
The recent release ofHalo InfiniteSeason 4 saw the return of Infection, with the fan-favorite mode a staple of the franchise at this point. Despite fans enjoying the update, it’s hard not to think that excitement around the game has been quiet for a little while now. The content keeps coming, but the player base isn’t actively flocking back in droves to play. WithHalo Infiniteoriginally conceived with a 10-year content plan, it remains to be seen if that holds true, but the dwindling player count may make that difficult. Hopefully,Halo Infinitecan gather more momentum throughout 2023. Incredible Forge creations like this will certainly be a big help.
Halo Infiniteis available now on PC, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
