With a strong launch after successful hype,Hitman 3is off to the races. There are some problems, includingbackwards Arabic in the first level, but patches are already on the way.
Speaking of that first level, it’s easily one of the coolest inHitman 3, taking place in the tallest building in the world. Players explore the top floors of the building trying to assassinate two targets. One of the challenges for the level is to take out one of the targets using a returning classic from the firstHitmangame in the World of Assassination trilogy: the exploding golf ball. Here’s how to do it and complete the Angry Birdy challenge.

Step 1: No Preparation, Only Exploration
While one of thebest tips for beginners inHitman 3is to prepare before a mission, this route to getting the challenge does not necessitate any preparation. It assumes players are starting without any special bells or whistles except the garrote wire, and beginning from the regular starting point. It is, however, a good idea to explore the level a little bit, just to get familiar with the layout. While not strictly necessary if following this route, it’s always good to have a backup path.
Keep in mind also that this route requires minimal sneaking, so there’s no need to freak out over unlocking high-profile areas. Players will not needthe admin codesfor example. All that needs to be opened is a single shortcut.
Step 2: The Disguise
From the starting position, head up the stairs on the left and go to the art exhibition. At the end of the gallery is a door that says staff only. Go through it when no one’s looking and head up the ladder directly ahead. Take the door on the left, then go left again. Three guards will pass by the balcony on the far wall, so wait for them to pass. Then jump up over the rail and head left. At the first door on the left, there’s a guard. KO or kill him and take his uniform, hiding the body in a closet through the door on the left. Don’t worry about the other guard, he’s asleep. It’s a fast way to get a disguise, and while it won’t bebreaking speedrun records, it’s very effective.
Step 3: The Shortcut
If the shortcut on the fifth-floor golf range is already open, this part can be skipped. Otherwise, leave the same way you came in, then jump over the railing directly ahead and go down the stairs. Go through the double doors, then turn left and go through the second double doors. Head around the corner and down the hallway, looking for a toolbox on the left wall. Near it is a crowbar. Grab the crowbar, then head down the corridor, taking the first door on the right. It leads to the same ladder as before, which can get back to the railing used before.
Step 4: The Setup
After jumping up the railing, instead of going left, go right. Go right again and up the stairs to the fourth floor, then turn left into the lounge. The target, Carl Ingram, will hopefully be in there. If not, don’t worry, he’ll go there later. If he’s there, turn on the radio to annoy him out of the lounge. Now head out into the corridor and take the door outside on the right.
Go to the terrace with the golf section set up and use the crowbar to open the trapdoor shortcut. Go down the ladder and there, next to a red toolbox, is the exploding golf ball. Now head up to the fifth floor. Be careful, some guards will be suspicious of you. Turn on the vacuum cleaner near where Carl is to annoy him. If this is the first time annoying him, go to the lounge now and turn on the radio.
These annoyances will make him head towards his golf terrace. Place the exploding golf ball into his golf ball stash and prepare for ahilariousHitman 3meme moment.
