Getting Rubies in SteamWorld Build
When it comes to acity-building gamelikeSteamWorld Build, resources are a vital part of the equation. After all, without the right ingredients, players will be unable to build the necessary buildings that are needed to progress. For this particular game, that means not being able to fulfill the many needs of the various residents that will join the town, making it hard to reach the eventual goal of flying out on a rocket ship made from old-world materials.
Rubies play an important role, whether it is in the early game or the late game ofSteamWorld Build. It is used in conjunction with money tobuy useful itemsthat act as modifiers for the array of buildings in the game, as well as forconstructing certain structures and turretsthat will be very helpful in the mines. As such, the more Rubies players can get their hands on, the better the prospects of completing the mission.
There are two ways to get this limited resource in the game.
Train Station Trading

Random Drops
There are also other ways in which the game will grant Rubies, and that can either be throughtreasure chestsfound within the mines, or in thetumbleweedsthat are rolling about above ground. Interacting with these will see a randomized reward drop, so that could be valuable rubies as well.
