InBaldur’s Gate 3, there is a huge variety of equipment that can give a character additional stats and effects. The Devilfoil Mask also has a unique effect, but most likely, it won’t appeal to most players. This item increases the wearer’s Strength by 1 point, though in exchange, Intelligence, Wisdom, and Charisma are reduced by 1 point.
Obviously, this is not really suitable even for a warrior, so players simply sell these masks. However, Devilfoil Masks can beused by Dammon to craft items. So even if players don’t need the masks, it’s better to give them to a blacksmith.

BG3: Devilfoil Masks Locations
There are a total of 4 Devilfoil Masks inBaldur’s Gate 3. They can be found quite quickly as they are all located in the Grymforge location.
In the Abandoned Refuge at coordinatesX:-661; Y:443, players will find 3 dwarves who will tell them to whip 2 Deep Rothe because they don’t want to work. If players are able to talk to the animals, they can convince them to kill their cruel masters and ask them to clear the passage blocked with stones. If players cannot talk to animals, they can deal with the dwarves themselves and destroy the stones. Inside, they will find the Devilfoil Mask lying near the stairs.
To find the next mask, players should continue up the stairs until they reach the tower. Then turn right, and there will be traps on the bridge that can be simply jumped over.
After that, players need to go down the iron ladder and jump onto the suspended platform. The other character must use the levers to move the platform.
The next step is tolockpick Double Iron Doors. In the room where the players will find themselves, they must climb the nearest stairs. On the right will be Double Doors that can be lockpicked or simply broken. There will be several enemies, including a Merregon Legionnaire, from which players can get the second Devilfoil Mask.
The third is in the same room on the table in front of a large mirror.
The last Devilfoil Mask is located in the main hall at coordinatesX:-617; Y:326. It is on the table.
How to Use Devilfoil Masks in BG3
If somebody within 20 meters is wearing a Devilfoil Mask, the character gains 1 point of Strength but loses 1 point of Intelligence, Wisdom, and Charisma. If all the characters wear this mask, they gain 3 points to Strength, which can be very useful for certain party builds, but it is rarely used this way.
Devilfoil Masks can also be used to craft the Orthon Explosive by the Dammon in Act 2. Players can find him atthe Last Light Innin Shadow-cursed Lands. Orthon Explosive is a grenade that can be thrown to deal huge damage.
