How to Cross the Bridge
Firstly, head to Pioneer Squareon the south-eastern corner of the northern island; players who haveunlockedSecond Son’s fast travelcan get there quicker. Beside the docks is a long curved bridge, broken into pieces by the D.U.P’s concrete powers in an attempt to quarantine the city. The player’s objective sits partway across this bridge, indicated by the star icon.
On approach, run over some shipping containers until Delsin comes up toa giant concrete wall flanked by neon lights, beyond which is the player’s objective. With his neon powers equipped, run directly up the wall to the topand a cutscene will play that sees Delsin activate his smoke powers.
All over the bridge will be automatic turrets, marked on the player’s minimap with small yellow icons. The goal here is to cross the bridge without taking too much damage byjumping over and sneaking around the turrets. With plenty of shipping containers blocking the way, this shouldn’t be too much trouble, as they can onlyaim in one direction and can be taken down from behind.
After avoiding the turrets, Delsin will come across a large gap in the bridge. As in the tutorial, useSucker Punch’s impressive traversal mechanicsto bounce off the burning car and propel Delsin across. Head further up and some D.U.P agents will ambush the player; deal with them and jump down into an area that looks suspiciously like a boss arena.
How to Defeat the Big D.U.P Agent
Upon reaching this area, a cutscene will play whereDelsin will reunite with Augustineand will be thrown into a boss fight with a flying conduit who will use concrete barriers to protect himself. This fight calls on the player touse their neon abilities to defeat him.
His attacks involvetunneling concrete and throwing rocksfrom a distance; these must be dodged or protected against with cover. Trying to fire at these projectiles will have no effect, therefore, players shoulduse the large boulders and D.U.P barriersto avoid the hurtling debris. After he fires at Delsin, there is a small window of opportunity to attack;using powerful Phosphor BeamsandInfamous' karma-related attackscan help whittle down his health quickly.
The D.U.P Agent will head underground, also, and make a beeline for the player to perform a powerful melee attack.Dodge this just before he emerges from the groundto avoid taking damage, and fire at him in his cooldown.
As with other armored D.U.P Agents, the player mustaim exclusively for the head and torsoto deal real damage. Adopt a hit-and-run strategy for this fight, landing a few good hits and running back to cover, making sure to keep an eye on the Agent to avoid being snuck up on.
After taking him down, the player will have a whole new area of the map open to exploration, filled withmany more hours ofInfamouscontent, and providing a more challenging experience.
