Summary

Jujutsu Kaisenis currently in its very final phase and the Shinjuku Showdown arc rages on as Yuji battles Sukuna. That said, this hasn’t stopped the author, Gege Akutami, from reintroducing old characters, such as Miguel, and Larue, among others.

There are many other characters in Jujutsu Kaisen that the fans are hoping for the return of and now would be the perfect time for them to reappear in the series and make an impact before the curtain drops and the story ends.

Noritoshi Kamo

7Noritoshi Kamo

Noritoshi Kamo hasn’t played much of a role inJujutsu Kaisenup until this point. He has tremendous potential, however, the author has underutilized this character, along with many others in the story. Kamo could end up playing a major role in the Shinjuku Showdown Arc, however, he has not been given the opportunity to do so and fans hope that can change.

His incredible control over blood manipulation would certainly be of help, and above all, his personal character arc needs to develop further as it is one of the most compelling backstories in the world of JJK.

Utahime being angry in Jujutsu Kaisen

6Utahime

Ultahime is another character that was sidelined by the author quite early on in the series. She did not play much of a role in the story at all, other than amping up Gojobefore the Shinjuku Showdown began. She might not be the strongest, however, the author needs to find clever ways to incorporate weaker characters into the story in compelling ways.

She falls in that category and there is certainly a big fanbase that wants to see her be important and play a massive role. For now, she has not done anything significant, but fans hope that can change in the final phase of the story.

5Shoko Ieri

Shoko is yet another popular female character who has not been included in the story all that much.Shoko simply plays the role of a HealerinJujutsu Kaisen. If one were to replace her with a hospital, nothing would change in the entire plot, and that paints a damning picture of how terribly the character has been handled.

Now thatJJKis near its end, fans can only hope that the author gives some shine to Shoko and makes her character stand on her own feet.

4Aoi Todo

Aoi Todo is one of the fan-favorite characters who had been completely cut out of the story, for one reason or another, until now. He was quite relevant in the story up until Shibuya, however, after the Shibuya incident wrapped up, he completely disappeared.

He did not make even a single appearance in the Culling Game, and the vast majority of the the Shinjuku showdown Arc, and fans can hope that he gets his chanceto make one last appearancebefore the series wraps up. Todo’s fiery will, witty fighting style, and, above all, comedic nature see to it that he’s loved by fans far and wide.

3Megumi Fushiguro

Megumi Fushiguro is a character that needs a lot of attention. While he certainly has played a significant role in JJK, in the culling game arc, ever since Sukuna took over his body, Megumi has been sidelined.

He has tremendous potential that he needs to fulfill before the series ends, but at the moment, Megumi is simply a tool for Sukuna to reach full power. He needs to be his own character in the Final Saga and time is running out for him to do so. Hopefully, fans can see him reach the next level as a sorcerer before JJK ends.

2Gojo Satoru

Of course, the strongest modern sorcerer,Gojo Satoru is arguably the most popular characterin the entirety ofJJK. Gojo was sidelined in the story for the vast majority of Shibuya, and in the Shinjuku Showdown arc, he ended up losing his life.

That said, the door is open for Gojo’s return and he may be back at some point in the story later down the line. Fans absolutely love Gojo and given that he has often proven to be the face of JJK, he needs to make his comeback.

1Nobara Kugisaki

Yet another character with massive potential to fulfill,Nobara was a part of Yuji’s team under Gojo, and just like many other characters in the story, she met her end in Shibuya.

This decision completely shocked the fans and to this day, they have been waiting for her return in some way or form. Nobara’s death was left ambiguous by the author on purpose, and hopefully, she can make a comeback before JJK finally wraps up.
