InLegends of Runeterra, players will be faced with many different types of decks ranging from Aggro to Mid Range or even Control Decks. With the meta heavily revolving around Aggro and Mid Range decks, Control decks don’t get to see much action. However, with Seraphine being brought into the game, this finally gives players more competitive options in regards to using Control Decks. InLegends of Runeterra,Seraphine is doing extremely well, when built alongside the right combination of cards and can perform against most types of decks.

After reading this guide, players will be able to create their own or similar Seraphine decks and climb the Ranked ladder a lot easier.

Seraphine & Ezreal

This deck revolves around using Seraphine’s spell copy abilities to make Ezreal deal large amounts of burn damage in one turn. This deck also provides us with many consistentlow mana cost cardsto give us tempo and consistency in the Early Game. This is something that makes Seraphine’s Control Deck stand out so much from other control decks because most control decks struggle in the Early Game.

Legends of RUneterra Ezreal

However, Seraphine + Ezreal is good at all stages of the game. With certain card combinations during the Late Game, especially involving cards like Drum Solo or Back Alley Bar, players can take their opponents from full health to 0 in a single turn. Being able to get more value out of all 2 mana and lower cost cards through Seraphine’s effects, on top of having lower mana costs from Drum Solo and Back Alley Bar, allows Ezreal to abuse his abilities.

Every time Ezreal attacks the nexus, players receive a Mystic Shot, which is fortunately 2 mana. This means that with Seraphine leveled up, players are guaranteed to deal at a bare minimum, of 4 unavoidable damage every single turn. Having the bonus draw power from multiple spells

The downside of this deck is it’s very combo reliant and without having Seraphine and Ezreal comboing together, players will find it very hard to close out games. There aren’treally any powerful cardsfor players to rely on, This means that if the enemy has strong single target units if players aren’t able to find disintegrate, they may have a hard time getting over these kinds of cards. If players want to take the card down using spells, without the help of Seraphine or Ezreal, players can end up running through most of the cards in their hand just to deal with one card, which puts players at a disadvantage.

Seraphine & Viktor

This deck has a lot of what the Seraphine Ezreal deck has in terms of control. However, it excels in ways that Ezreal can’t by using multiple spell cards to ramp Viktor into a very strong single unit. Once Viktor gets Overwhelm, Spellshield and he has his power ramped up high enough, nothing will be able to stop him from ending the game.

Players can also change the tempo of how they want to play the game depending on the keywords Viktor ends up with. Lifesteal can give players the sustain they need to handle burn decks. Regeneration can make it so Viktor can actively participate in battles without worrying about dying. Elusive can make it so Viktor can’t be blocked bynon-elusive units, and most decks don’t have Elusive units. Spellshield can make it so enemies can’t just get rid of Viktor with a spell card. This makes the deck extremely flexible and gives players a lot of options. Seraphine’s level-up effect also makes it so Viktor will ramp up twice as fast since she will make duplicates of the 2 mana or lower-cost spells that are played.

Legends of Runeterra Viktor

The downside of this deck is, Viktor is better the earlier players can get him onto the field. So if players are unlucky andcan’t seem to draw Viktor cards, players will have a lot of trouble finding other ways to win.

Even if Viktor is picked up later on at maybe turn 10, Viktor will need too much time to ramp up by then and players will still lose. As Champion reliant as this deck is, it can be very hit-or-miss, leading to some inconsistency regarding success.
