A recent server outage has seen fans reporting their Franchise is “currently unavailable” with the game experiencing major issues. Fans have reported that franchise modes have seemingly disappeared with multiple players losing their saved games. While the issue was originally believed to be exclusive to online franchises, severalplayers with offline Franchiseshave also confirmed their files had been corrupted. The issue with Franchise has become so glaring that EA Sports would make a statement about the error Saturday morning.

In an official update from EA Sports, the company reported that players trying to access their Franchise Modes on Wednesday evening were given the “currently unavailable” error. EA confirmed that a data storage issue withMadden NFL 23had caused those players' files to become corrupted. EA’s outlook on the error was not a particularly hopeful point for fans either, as the company only projected around 40% of saves to be recoverable. EA Sports has confirmed that the issue has since been fixed and players can safelycreate new Franchise Mode saves.
