Usually, settings inMadden NFL 24are all about player preference. Players who are uncomfortable with the controls they use will do badly on the field. So even if there is a setting that is technically “better” that the pro gamers use, this recommendation can go out the window if it doesn’t really work for the individual gamer.

But there is something to be said for even newer gamers challenging themselves when it comes to passing styles.Madden NFL 24offers three choices and while one is clearly the easiest, there are perks to the other two that make it tempting for even novice players should try out.
Placement & Accuracy
The advantage of the Placement & Accuracy setting is that it gives players additional control over exactly where a ball is placed along a route. On short crossing routes, this allows players to put the ball right in between defenders or just out of reach.
Some ofthe best wide receiverslike to have a quick catch and then let their legs do the work. Placement & Accuracy will hit them in stride. Even when messing up the timing meter, the settings will default to the quarterback’s accuracy, so there is no downside to trying this out.
Placement & Power
Placement & Power will allow players to throw into a specific circle on the field which is supreme when it comes to throwing long balls againstthe best cornerbacks around. Players that master this are bound to get away with a few deep touchdowns in every game.

Beyond just deep routes, this can also work for receivers that come back toward the ball. By throwing way underneath the defender, players that get the timing right can guarantee the defender won’t get a play on the ball. As with Placement & Accuracy, there is no actual penalty for getting the timing wrong, the game will just default to the quarterback’s accuracy and power attributes.
Classic
Because there are no real penalties for trying to use either of the other two settings, Classic is only useful for new players to the series. Everything that can be done in Classic can be done better in the other two even for gamers that aren’t great at timing out the release points.
This is much simpler and this may appeal to casual players just looking to have a good time. Since the Classic setting will always determine success based on the quarterback’s statistics, make sure to snatch up one ofthe best QBs in the gameto be competitive with the Classic passing style.
