As mentioned above, all titles in the series suggest that Insomniac’s Peter Parker has endured little to no rest as New York’s Spider-Man, only having time for a short vacation once Miles came into the picture. This has been evident in his struggles with daily life, keeping up with rent payments, losing jobs due to crime emergencies, and being at the front and center of any potential conflict.
Managing to keep New York safe alone for many years,possibly alongside some unseen heroes in Insomniac’s universe from time to time, is a difficult task, to say the least. Miles Morales acts as his successor, and he is more than capable of stepping up to the task. Peter can now face his life as Peter Parker rather than New York’s only Spider-Man.
4Aftermath Of Symbiote Suit
Anti-Venom Suit Could Be Important In Future Titles
Going through a rollercoaster of emotions, stuck in a Symbiote Hive-Mind, and having to force the Symbiote off of him with the help of Miles, it is no surprise that Peter is exhausted by the time the credits roll. Chaos unfolds with the presence of the Lizard and Kraven’s hunt of multiple characters, especially Peter himself. Still, the Venom Symbiote is the closest thing that put Mary Jane, Miles, Harry, and the rest of New York in real danger.
Marvel’s Spider-Man 2takes a spin on the comics. Peter obtainsthe Anti-Venom Symbiote Suit rather than Eddie Brock, as keeping the Symbiote attached to him for so long has made it a part of him. While things are peaceful and stable with Peter now, it is unknown what this will mean for future titles, and how the remnants of the Symbiote and the Anti-Venom Suit will impact him. With that in mind, he should keep away from action for now.

The involvement of the Venom Symbiote inMarvel’s Spider-Man 2did not only affect Peter’s behavior towards Mary Jane, but it also held her in a dangerous situation. After Harry Osborn took the suit for himself, Venom took the opportunity to form a Symbiote of his own and have it merged with Mary Jane.
UnleashingScream, Mary Jane’s frustrations and rage that she held with Peter were also untethered, resulting in an emotional battle between the two. Many of the words and issues that MJ held inside were related to Peter’s absence, supposed selfishness, and all the daily stresses about her role at the Daily Bugle. Now is the perfect time for the pair to act upon it.

The City Is In A Safe Place With Miles
The threat of Venom is eliminated after the efforts of Peter, Miles, and MJ to destroy the Symbiote and save Harry. Now, there is little reason for Peter to overexert himself, especially as Miles is arguably stronger than him. The game’s post-credits sequences suggest the resurgence of Doc Ock and the first appearance of Green Goblin. However, the narrative ends at a point where there is no need for two Spider-Men active in New York City.
Although the chances of DLC arriving forMarvel’s Spider-Man 2are within the realm of possibility, featuring either Doctor Strange orDaredevil. this could be done with players using Miles or perhaps rare moments of Peter. Players will likely want the choice, depending on the severity of the situation.

Harry Osborn’s Fate Is Again Unknown
By the end ofMarvel’s Spider-Man(2018), Peter has sufferedheartbreak from losing Aunt Mayfor good to save the city, and Harry is left unresponsive after being momentarily revived by Miles. Considering the nature of the job as a hero, Peter and Miles had no time to mourn the loss of their loved ones before they set off into action across the city.
Peter blames himself for the death of May and Harry’s unstable state. It is time for him to finally address those feelings and mourn healthily, as opposed to stopping crime constantly. With MJ by his side, moving in with him in May’s home, it leaves the door open for a mentally stronger and healthier Peter upon an eventual return.
