Capcom has revealed Title Update 3 forMonster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak, the latest free update for the action role-playing game. On Wednesday, Capcom held its latest Monster Hunter Digital Event, detailing upcoming plans forMonster Hunter Rise. It was focused entirely on content coming for theSunbreakexpansion, naturally, with no otherMonster Huntergames currently in focus.Monster Hunter Riseplayers should be more than happy with what’s in store, though.
Monster Hunter Rise’sSunbreakexpansionofficially launched in June 2022, delivering a massive new story arc and plenty of new monsters to hunt and rewards to earn. Since then, Capcom has delivered two substantial free Title Updates. Title Update 1 arrived in August, followed by Title Update 2 in September. While both updates were free, they also required ownership of theSunbreakexpansion. The next free update forMonster Hunter Risewill also requireSunbreak.

Free Title Update 3 forMonster Hunter Rise: Sunbreakstarts with the release of three new monsters. Chaotic Gore Magala is the primary new battle of Title Update 3, maintaining the power of theGore Magalaalong with the potential of Shagaru Magala. After Chaotic Gore Magala, there are two new Risen monsters. Risen Teostra and Risen Kushala Daora have suppressed the Qurio virus, gaining increased strength and new abilities in the process. Expect expanded and more challenging battles with all three new monsters.
Beyond additional monsters, Capcom has confirmed that Anomaly Investigations will be climbing up to Lv. 200, adding A7-star quests and new features forQurious Crafting. Further, players can now take Followers with them on “almost all” Master Rank quests, as well as Anomaly Quests and Anomaly Investigations. These are single-player-only experiences that offer unique rewards. Players can choose their favorite Kamura Village characters and build up bonds with them to take on greater challenges.
There’s even more beyond that, though. Expect new event quests, the Kagami original character voice, the Stuffed Monster Series of layered weapons, and a range of paid DLC options.Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreakplayers should have plenty to do once the new update arrives on November 24.
While Title Update 3 will beMonster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak’s last major update of 2022, Capcom has plans for the game going into 2023. Two more free Title Updates are currently scheduled onMonster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak’s roadmap. Title Update 4 will deliver a newElder Dragonand Powered-Up Monster in the winter, and Title Update 5 arrives in the spring. Plans can change, butMonster Hunterfans can look forward to more free content for some time.
