Reddit user rearisen claims to have found a physical copy ofMortal Kombat 1for the Nintendo Switch and shared a series of images that have since been removed from r/MortalKombat. These captured screenshots feature the full base roster forMortal Kombat 1, excluding anyupcoming DLC fighters like Homelanderor Peacemaker.Mortal Kombat 1’s secondary Kameo roster was also shown in full, consisting of classic versions of theMortal Kombatuniverse’s most famous warriors from before Liu Kang’s reset of the timeline at the end ofMortal Kombat 11’sAftermathDLC campaign.
Rearisen also shared some of their thoughts on howMortal Kombat 1runs on the Nintendo Switch. According to them, this version of the game suffers from screen tearing and framerate lag, with rearisen stating that they haven’t gotten a chance to beginplayingMK 1’s story campaignproper yet and deeming the Switch port’s performance as “not up to par” with a typical $70 video game release. Other users do point out that NetherRealm could correct these issues in a day-one update patch, as many triple-A releases have done in the past.
