Marvel Studios is adamant about reminding fans of the new seriesMs. Marvel. In the past few days, new posters, scenes, and multiple teaser trailers have been released to mark a countdown to the premiere date. Now, the latest trailer released by the studio features a nod to some of the Marvel Cinematic Universe’s fallen Avengers.
Iman Vellani’s Kamala Khanwill be the latest hero to join the MCU in the much-awaited seriesMs. Marvel. It has already been established in previously released trailers that she is a huge fan of the Avengers, with Carol Danvers being her absolute favorite. While she stands a chance to meet some of her idols in the future, she is entering the MCU at a point when some of the fan-favorite heroes have already fallen. The series seems to acknowledge that and pays homage to these heroes.

ThelatestMs. Marveltrailerbegins with a voiceover that makes Kamala realize that “people are connected,” even to those who “came before.” Her dilemma of whether she deserves to be a hero or not has been seen in the firstMs. Marveltrailer, but this new video is perhaps a hint towards her accepting her fate. While those words play over the video, the trailer features a nod towards some of Kamala’s favorite heroes, some of whom will probably never be seen in the MCU again.
A poster ofIron Man and Black Widowwith the words “thank you for your sacrifice” seen plastered on what seems like a memorial wall. Several posters and notes beside it are dedicated to the fallen heroes as well. She will be attending an Avengers party inMs. Marvel, and the poster could be visible there. Kamala also has a hand-drawn poster of Captain America in her possession, perhaps something she made herself. Finally, graffiti art of Ant-Man is also featured, with the words “as strong as an ant” painted along in Urdu, the national language of Pakistan. As a Pakistani-American teenager, it seems like Kamala will be seen visiting the country, and the Avengers have clearly had an impact on people around the world.
Another interesting fact that fans have noticed in the newMs. Marveltrailer is the appearance ofSpecial Agent P. Cleary played by Arian Moayed. He was last seen inSpider-Man: No Way Homeand detained Tom Holland’s Peter Parker for the attack on London and allegedly killing Mysterio. So far, the agent working with the United States Department of Damage Control had only appeared in Sony’sSpider-Mantrilogy. Fans are now wondering why the department and Moayed’s character have crossed over. They are about to find out pretty soon.
