According to the character’s social media accounts, her name is Seraphine who is an “aspiring songwriter [and] producer.” Since fans have heard the next champion will have music-related abilities, and she seems to align with these expectations. She has also posted a few covers to various songs and has her Soundcloud linked in her Twitter bio, starting with “Childhood Dreams” by Ary. While fans can’t exactly be sure of where she fits into theLeague of Legendslore, she does appear to have a subtle sun and moon theme going with her face marking as well as her earring and hair tie that keeps her braid together in one picture.
The Brazilian leaker who showed off Samira’s concept art to fans also said that Riot Games is going to be releasing a “sensational mage,” and it seems this new social media persona fits the bill. While not much is known about this potential champion other than her musical capabilities and general aesthetic, Riot Games did tell fans that the company is attempting to “release one new champion per role each year” starting with the current season of the game. SinceLeague of Legendshas recently seen the additions of top-laner Sett, junglerLillia, mid-laner Yone, as well as the hints at future ADC Samira, it seems likely that Seraphine will likely be a support role.
