Capcom held yet another digitalResident Evil Villageshowcase this week to show off more of the game’s narrative, combat, and to speak on the 25th anniversary of the survival-horror series. After revealing a cinematic and action-packed narrative trailer forResident Evil Village, Capcom revealed that the title is getting a second demo very soon.
Tsuyoshi Kanda, producer onResident Evil Villagetook the stand to explain that while the game may look different than past entries, the title will still feature the combat,puzzle-solving, horror elements, and resource management system that fans have grown accustomed to over the years since the series' inception.

Kanda also revealed that the upcoming demo will be available for PS4, PS5, PC (via Steam), Stadia, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S. The limited demo will launch in North America on May 1 at 5 pm; May 2 at 2 am in Europe, and May 2 at 8 am in Asia. TheResident Evil Villagedemowill be available for 24 hours and will allow players the chance to experience the game’s spooky setting for up to 60 minutes. For fans that are itching to get their hands on the demo will be able to pre-download it starting on April 29 at 5 pm PT.
There are also two early access demo opportunities that will come much sooner forResident Evilfans, but they will only be available for download for PS4 and PS5 players. PS owners will have an 8-hour window to play for up to 30 minutes each for both sections of the demo, which features the Village and the Castle area. The village portion of the demo will be available starting on April 17 at 5 PM PT, with the other one starting on April 24, also at 5 PM PT.
The first demo for the game that launched earlier this year threw players into a combat-free scenario, allowing them to explore the castle for a short period of time. The populartall woman known as Lady Dimitrescumade an appearance in this demo and earlier trailers and has since become very well-known to fans.
Capcom has even gone out of their way to confirm theactual height for Dimitrescu, as well as her feet size, so it’ll be interesting to see the role she plays in the narrative and if fans will still be head over heels for her once the game launches.
Resident Evil Villagewill launch on May 7 for PC, PS4, PS5, Stadia, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
