Familiars play an important role inNi no Kuni: Cross Worlds, and there are a couple of ways that players can obtain them. One of those ways is to tame them, though some fans may be unclear about exactly how that is done. Fortunately, it is quite easy to tame Familiars inNi no Kuni: Cross Worlds, and this guide is here to walk players through the process.
Ni no Kuni: Cross Worlds - How to Take Familiars
Get Biscuits
The first step toward catchingFamiliars inNi no Kuniis to buy some Biscuits through the Basic Shop. For full clarity, this shop is accessed by clicking on the Shop icon in the bottom-right corner of the in-game menu, and the Biscuits can be found in the Adventure Item section of the Basic Shop. Notably, players can only buy 30 Biscuits per week through the shop, and they may want to split their purchases up across the seven different varieties that are available.

Find Brighterfly
With some Biscuits in hand, mobile RPGfans should set their sights on locating Brighterflies, glowing blue butterflies that typically appear in groups near packs of monsters. Upon finding one or more of these insects, players should approach and then click on the hand icon that will have appeared near the bottom-right corner of the screen. Clicking on this icon will ultimately cause the Brighterflies to transform into a Familiar, and fans should click on the heart icon that replaces the hand icon when that occurs.
Give Biscuit
Players will now face a prompt that asks them to confirm if they will give a Biscuit to the Familiar that they have encountered, and fans will have just one minute to make their decision. If the player chooses to proceed with the taming, theirNi no Kuni: Cross Worldscharacterwill enter a short animation, and they will find out if they were successful in their efforts when that animation concludes. Fans need not be too concerned if they fail to tame a Familiar on their first attempt, though, as they can always click on the heart icon and try again.
To note, even if a player is not particularly interested in holding onto a Familiar that they encounter through a Brighterfly, it is often still worthwhile to tame them. This is because captured Familiars can be used to power up other Familiars under the correct circumstances. Additionally,Ni no Kunifanscan always release their tamed Familiars for a chance to earn Jelly, provided that the Familiar is a 2-star or above.
